After nearly 2 years reclaiming our rights, Mercy Falls is finally back on UK streaming. We went direct via Filmhub for transparency, control & real analytics — a sign of where film distribution is heading as old models continue to crack. Now on Prime Video & Apple TV.

The not particularly pleasant story of a UK independent filmmaker who completed his feature, sold the UK rights to it, and then... well, thanks to a series of events, things went very, very wrong... buff.ly/IZxTsiU

Apparently @scotgov @AngusRobertson held a reception for Scottish film producers / production companies the other week... First I'm hearing about that. 2 feature films in 2 years, both released theatrically, supporting local jobs and cinemas, still I didn't warrant an invite. 🤷‍♂️

Had a productive & informative time at #ScreenSummit24 at @BFI Great panels, lots of insight. I was a little embarrassed to be #Scottish due to some of the nieve and elitist comments made by those representing #Scotland at the event. Everything ain’t fine & dandy in Scotland.

Yes she said that but continued by saying "the UK need to follow Screen Scotland's example as they have done an incredible job of revitalising the industry in Scotland." (sight paraphrasing) but I shit you not this is what was said! Sheer rage doesn't begin to cover my reaction.
