The Republicans were crushed in the 1974 midterms. Reagan later delivered a speech explaining why:
♦️ “The meaning of the last election will not be found among those who voted. It will be found among those who stayed home—the biggest non-voter bloc in our nation’s history. And why did they stay home? Well, because they said they couldn’t see any difference between the two parties.”♦️
There’s a lesson in that worth remembering. You can’t win voters by simply telling them how bad the other side is. You have to give them a compelling reason to vote for you. Stand for something. Be bold, unapologetically conservative, offer a clear contrast, and most importantly, deliver on the promises you campaigned on. Voters need to see a real difference, not just hear about one.

The Seattle Mariners are a pathetic joke! There is zero accountability from owner John Stanton to team president Jerry Dipoto to manager Dan Wilson. Bryan Woo has gotten way too much of a free pass this year. Another disgusting road start by Woo who doesn’t adjust.
I am handing my American flag around my party to see who is good luck. Turns out it is Cooper. USA! USA! USA!!!!!!
Just two British colonies playing some soccer. Beat the criminals. And it is only treason if you lose.

I make a promise right here & now:
If I ever decide to run for higher office, I’m willing to forgo vacations, holidays, & time with family
if it means doing right by the American people & passing legislation that I campaigned on.
Also, I will wait in line at airports — like everyone else — & not expect special privileges,
especially when thousands of TSA agents aren’t being paid.
Furthermore, I won’t exempt myself from legislation that the American people must abide by.
If you can’t tell, I’m beyond irate.

Reposting my prayer for a free Iran, which I shared a few weeks ago.
Now war has begun. I don’t know how this will play out. Or how it will end.
Even so, I still pray for a free Iran — and for the Persian people to retake their rightful place under the sun. #FreeIran 💚🤍❤️

Washington fans wondering what could have been while watching Parker Brailsford snap to Austin Mack, who throws to Germie Bernard. @UW_Football #CFP
I'm starting to wonder if our run was more about Chris Peterson less about Kalen DeBoer judging by how Kaleb didn't recruit.
