Crush Depth is out today! It's a deep-sea technothriller - think The Hunt for Red October meets Jurassic Park. I've been working on it for a while and I'm incredibly proud of the result. Go check it out! amazon.com/Crush-Depth-Techn…

openai casually announcing that its ai system has disproved the exponential time hypothesis is fucking absurd. eth has been a foundational assumption in theoretical computer science for decades. hundreds of papers have relied on it to establish conditional hardness results. and now an internal ai model has reportedly produced a lean-verified refutation.

As an avid 94WIP (I remember when it was 610 on AM!) and 97.5 The Fanatic listener this is not an exaggeration - the callers really are like that, and for every sport not just the Eagles. – at South Riding, VA

This is basically like listening to Philly sports radio. Half the callers think the Eagles are winning the Super Bowl, the other half expects some sort of disaster that'll go backwards in time and erase the two Super Bowl wins from existence. And that was a random day in August.

I fucked up and talked to the negotiator on the phone long enough for them to box me in. They have dogs so I'm probably done for.

Someone is going to file the serial numbers off of Malfoid and write a fantasy action/adventure series set at a magical school with a blonde tsundere love interest and just print money. – at Reston, VA

I was never a MMO guy. Closest I ever came was Destiny 1 lol but I did enjoy playing through some of the class stories on SW:TOR.

Yeah I got the DLC on sale, that's why I'm going to dive in again. I really liked it, I played through the main campaign twice and messed around a bit with outposts, but there's still a ton of missed potential.

I played 1 and 2 (I actually think I got all of the achievements in 1 on PC) but dropped The Pre-Sequel hard and 3 and 4 looked like they were more of the same.

I think I'll spend the rest of the year getting Starfield achievements? MW4 MP looks awful and there's nothing else coming out I'm interested in (I'm not a GTA guy).
