Here’s a crazy stat: Only 1 in 25,000
men over 35 have a visible six-pack.
That’s just 40 out of 1 million.
In a city like Austin, Texas, that means
only 40 men with abs.
Now picture New York City with 8.5
million people — only 340 men would
have abs.
Let that sink in.
The problem isn't that people don't know how to get healthier. It's that knowing and doing are two different skills.
I find it ridiculous that people track
their calories burned more closely
than whether they're actually
getting stronger.

Unpopular opinion, but…
I’ve never respected someome who
says let’s hang out and drink this
weekend.
However…
I have heard someone say “I don’t drink
very often, let’s wake up early and
workout.”
And been very inspired and full of
respect.
Aging well is mostly about preserving what people slowly give away:
- muscle
- fitness
- mobility
- sleep
- discipline
If your entire fitness routine is designed
around burning calories, you're missing
most of what exercise is actually
capable of doing.
The most expensive health
decisions are often the ones
that cost you nothing today.
*What you ignore now can
become your biggest expense
later.
I think every gym should have a
treadmill test right next to the
bench press.
Would really humble a few of us.
I’m not approaching longevity because I sold a tech company and got interested in biology.
I’ve spent my entire adult life working in fitness.
Coaching people.
Building gyms.
Developing programs.
Learning what actually gets results.
Now I’m combining that experience with modern medicine.
I think that’s a very different conversation.
And it’s one I’m excited to have.
I’ve spent 20 years in the fitness industry.
Built gyms.
Built coaching programs.
Built an app approaching 100,000 users.
And I think the most interesting era of fitness is just getting started.
We finally have powerful tools for understanding what’s happening INSIDE the body.
Now imagine combining that with decades of experience changing what people actually DO with their bodies.
That’s the future I’m betting on.
Retiring at 50 sounds incredible until
you realize you didn't build a body that
can enjoy the next 30 years.
*Your retirement plan should include
your health
The fitness industry taught everyone how to look better. It forgot to teach them how to live better.
Everyone claims they “don’t know where to start.”
Really?
Start with the basics you’ve been avoiding for years.
Too many “jacked” guys are just
obese in disguise.
Baggy shirts. Tight sleeves.
Calling it confidence.
Here’s the truth:
You don’t want to get bigger.
You need to get leaner.
There’s no point in feeling unstoppable
in a t-shirt and ashamed when it comes
off.
