#VideoGameBacklog "The Witness" (PC, 2016) is an artistic environmental puzzle game. The puzzles are interesting but get repetitive. However, the brilliant colors & models of the world provide incentive for progression. Not much going on, but that's the beauty #indiegames

#VideoGameBacklog "Where is my Heart?" (PC, 2014) is a pleasant puzzle platformer. Find hearts & get 3 characters to the exit, switching between them at will. Each has a special ability, like rotating panels, allowing progression. Try it for a casual, interesting, experience 💕

#VideoGameBacklog "Victor Vran" (Xbox, 2017) is an ARPG where the titular character hunts demons while upgrading weapons & magic. The story is fun enough and play control & visuals are pretty good. Vran is voiced by Geralt (Doug Cockle)!

#VideoGameBacklog "West of Dead" (PC, 2020) is a fun action/shooter w/ undead Western themes. Gameplay has novel cover mechanics, art/style complement the theme, roguelite & weapon mechanics work, & it strikes a balance btw enemy volume & speed. Worth a shot! #indiegames

#VideoGameBacklog "Wargroove" (PC, 2019) is a turn-based strategy game by @ChucklefishLTD with cute #pixelart and story. The gameplay is fairly standard, but it kept my interest and is worth giving it a shot! #indiegames

#VideoGameBacklog "Void Bastards" (PC, 2019) by @BlueManchuGames offers an innovative blend of FPS, construction, & rogue-lite. Its stylish visuals, distinctive enemies, imaginative weapons, & diverse locations come together in a delightfully bleak. One more station! #indiegames

#VideoGameBacklog "Valdis Story: Abyssal City" (PC, 2013) is a solid action platformer by @EndlessFluff with fun items, spells, enemies, & a little exploration-puzzle solving. The visuals are beautiful & the music has a great atmospheric charm. Give it a shot! #indiegames

#VideoGameBacklog "Vagante" (PC, 2018) is a fairly pure and fun platforming roguelike by @nukeninegames. Brave the depths with equipment, quaff unidentified potions, fight baddies & RNG over and over with pretty pixel graphics! Check it out if it's in your backlog! #indiegames

#VideoGameBacklog "USB Stick Found in the Grass" (PC, 2021) is an interesting concept where the game is a fake USB drive on your Windows machine with files on it to explore like a 25-page diary, e-books, & password-protected zip files. #indiegames
