If you’ve recently discovered cinematographer Autumn Durald-Arkapaw’s gorgeous work in #Sinners/ #SinnersMovie, she also delivered the goods *in films* The Last Showgirl, Teen Spirit, The Sun Is Also A Star, Palo Alto and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

and it shows with the amount of theatre actors they got
#ThePitt star and executive producer Noah Wyle wrote a “mission statement” about the caliber of performers he was seeking. Isa Briones remembers the note as a kind of challenge.
“‘This is a very specific type of show,’” she recalls reading in the mission statement. “‘It’s intense. It’s fast-paced. It’s like theater. We are a group of players. If you can be a team player who is ready to lock in with a family, then this is the place for you.’ I was like, ‘Oh, wow, this is the first I’m really getting to know of this man. And already I love it.’” wp.me/pc8uak-1lFErS

Love another stories like this: Man on a Cardiff bus leans forward and tells two chatty young women of dark complexion to "go back where you come from." They were speaking Welsh.

Story from Kayenta, AZ: A woman was talking on her phone while waiting in line at the local Safeway. When she finished, a man turned to her and said “This is America. Speak English”. She answered: “Sir, I was speaking Navajo. If you want to speak English, go back to England”

The MCA has opposed DBKL's proposal to remove the three Chinese characters for Petaling Street from the signage, reports Malaysiakini.
“As long as it follows laws requiring the national language to be prominently displayed and larger than other languages, the presence of the Chinese characters should not be an issue,” says the party.

The Malaysia Chinese Restaurant Association says that businesses are experiencing rising costs due to DBKL's crackdown on signages.
Meanwhile, the MCA states that Petaling Street's Chinese name comes from a tapioca flour factory founded by Yap Ah Loy, who helped develop Kuala Lumpur.

I watched this disturbing as hell Dahmer series. I'm still stuck on these 2 cops who let a drugged boy go back to Dahmer's apartment, where he later killed him! They played the real call with the neighbor, a black woman, who told the cops it was a kid. But they ignored her.
