Vape shops are becoming an all too common sight on our high streets.
Andy Burnham has announced new powers to crack down on vape shops, betting shops and more.
We need that same ambition here in Wales.
We don’t need another taskforce. We need action.
Spent my Sunday helping organise an incredible opportunity for 8 children from Butetown to be mascots at today’s Arsenal v Manchester City game! ⚽️👏

There’s a lot going on in Wales and across the UK, but the Senedd is now in recess until mid September.
MSs are still at work in our constituencies but we can't raise issues or hold the Welsh Gov to account in the Senedd.
I think an 8 week recess is too long. What do you think?

Just 64 days in and two education unions have taken the unprecedented step of seeking independent conciliation with the Plaid Cymru Welsh Government.
That's a failure of social partnership.
Teachers and school leaders are clear - the supplementary budget was not good enough.

Good morning @Argos_Online. I’ve been trying to get a response for over two weeks now, despite making numerous phone calls and visiting my local stores. Unfortunately, I’ve had no success.
Could someone please look into my case and help resolve the outstanding issue?

🔦 We’re shining a light on the hidden dangers of adolescent exploitation in Cardiff.
Exploitation can take many forms—criminal, sexual, modern slavery, and coercive control—and can affect any young person.
Look out for the signs.

Great case in @WSJ by @revenuepath & @DanArbess for reality-based recognition of #Somaliland under the Montevideo Convention: “Build something real and you might be treated as real.” I’d add a corollary re rump #Somalia🇸🇴: Fail to build and you lose it.

It's a great privilege to conduct the first official diplomatic visit to Somaliland, at the invitation of President @Abdirahmanirro.
The visit is also a message: We are determined to vigorously advance relations between Israel and Somaliland.
Today, we held substantive discussions with the President and senior members of his government on the full range of our relations.
The mutual recognition and establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries are not directed against anyone. Our shared objective is to promote the mutual benefit of both nations and countries.
In Hargeisa, I made it clear:
Only Israel will decide whom it recognizes and with whom it maintains diplomatic relations.
The President of Somaliland informed me that he has accepted @IsraeliPM Netanyahu’s invitation and will pay an official visit to Israel.

🇬🇧 BREAKING: Former UK Ambassador to the United States, Lord Darroch of Kew, calls for a complete shift in global policy toward #Somaliland.
In a new policy paper, he argues that:
🔹 “Somaliland is an asset, not a diplomatic problem.”
🔹 “Investor uncertainty persists only because diplomatic ambiguity creates risks that do not match Somaliland’s strong governance.”
🔹 “Al-Shabaab has failed completely in Somaliland — the region needs exactly this kind of security governance.”
He concludes:
“Somaliland has proven itself an asset. The international community should start acting accordingly.”
