What actually possessed McClean to speak on this topic?

⚽️GOAL: Another cracking goal as Toby Ritchie equalises for a second time by winning possession and then coolly lifting the ball over @academy_brfc keeper Jack Thompson.

200 games for this special club. 🤍💙
My home. My club. A place that means so much to me.
Proud to have worn this shirt 200 times, and what a result to mark the occasion.
Here’s to many more. 🫶⚽️ @OfficialBWFC

If only we'd spent £3m and £20k a week we too could have got an away point at QPR... #bwfc
Another thing to add is the fact Dean hasn’t even played or been on the bench since, so we splurge 2/3 million on a player who wouldn’t have been able to hit the ground running straight away.. #bwfc
Some strange reactions to this. If we signed Dean or Kenny everyone would be saying “great window” & there’s an argument to say Bair suits the lone striker role better than any of those two would have. We should have at least 3 more points than we do with how we’ve played. #bwfc
Reeks of not making it in men’s football
JJ Gabriel has asked to leave Manchester United and is trying to enter into free agency, as called by @Matt_Law_DT.
Manchester United are unclear what has prompted the request.
The plan, prior to it, had been to include him in the first-team squad tomorrow for the EFL tie with Brighton.
#MUFC Feel the situation is rectifiable, but @talkSPORT understands the player is pushing to leave as soon as possible.
Although nothing is formally lined up, it’s understood JJ Gabriel has another Premier League club in mind.🔴
Crack on, they’d all suffer massively without us
