altcoins holding incredibly strongly even with $BTC going lower
e.g. BTC is down to $77k from $79k at the time of the quoted post
a lot of alts are somewhat lower too, but are holding relatively well compared to BTC
Binance seems to have rebought most of the coins from the hack, and they have about $3 billion frozen that should be returned to them
headline figure here is $6.3 billion & half is frozen + Binance likely gets a good portion of the rest recovered on a decent enough timeframe
it's possible Bitcoin wicks a bit lower to mark local lows before things get exciting in the coming weeks/months
but most of the pain for altcoins is likely done here IMO
and i think the odds favor being long altcoins and DCA'ing into dips from here if we get them
i tend to be a perpetual optimist and i'm generally careful about tweeting bearish stuff
but i do not think we're out of the woods yet
$BTC proceeded to dump 21% a week after the Bybit hack in Feb 2025 (~23% two weeks after)
the Binance hack is far bigger, both in scale and significance
as much as i would like to believe it is over, historical precedents make me lean towards believing it is not
this reminds me of 10/10, where everyone thought the bottom would be in ASAP after such a massive flush, only for us to go through one of the worst crypto winters the industry has experienced in a long time, both in scale and duration
while i do think this incident creates THE local bottom before the real face-melting run we've all been waiting for (i think cycle lows were already in back in June!)
it's hard to imagine things getting much worse, and i don't think this is going to be as bad as 10/10
but i also don't think this is going to play out in a day, as many would like you to believe right now
the best move for now is to preserve capital IMO!

Yesterday was ugly for $USELESS due to hack and retail fell apart. 3 month inflows still strong and if there was any coin I feel comfortable buying a big dip on its $USELESS because I am confident this will lead market again post mid terms when BTC goes up.

volume and how quickly an asset bounces during a flush are two of the biggest things you want to pay attention to
they show you where dip buyers are aggressively stepping in and which assets have the strongest demand
$USELESS is looking pretty damn good on both counts 👀
• back to being a top 3 most traded memecoin on Coinbase alongside $PEPE & $DOGE, with only 3 memecoins in the top 50
• volume up 144% in 24 hours, the highest ratio of any memecoin in the top 13
this is EXACTLY the kind of reaction you want to see from an asset during a flush like the Binance hack selloff
while others panic sell, people are aggressively bidding $USELESS
pay attention to the assets showing strength when the market gets ugly
dips are for buying!
on another note, $USELESS has the largest 24h drawdown of any cryptocurrency listed on Binance futures or traded on Hyperliquid perps
so again, while it tends to outperform everything else when $BTC is trending strongly, the reverse seems to be the case during periods of extreme market stress like this
the silver lining is that this presents an opportunity: an entry for those who have been sidelined so far, and a swing/quick trade for those who enjoy that kind of trading
my core spot bags remain intact, but i like this as a swing trade here
the kind of volatility you see on $USELESS is a trader's dream!
Guys with 100$ position dunking on bonk guy @theunipcs
. Do better
His fomo portfolio will be worth 100M soon
$USELESS comeback will be televised also it's going to 1$+ this year I strongly believe

I am excited to be an investor in trade(xyz) as they partner with ICE to bring 24/7 perpetual futures on Hyperliquid to the United States. As a market participant, I am looking forward to to using their innovative product to enhance my investment process.

i currently hold no $PEPE, but the strength this has been showing whenever $BTC pumps even a little is incredible
i think $PEPE is going to be one of the cryptocurrencies many will be talking about in the coming weeks/months
alongside $USELESS
both were among the early outperformers this year and continue to show strength
they're bellwether assets that reinforce my conviction that memecoins will continue to play a key role in the future of crypto
it's fascinating how $USELESS & $PEPE started the year outperforming almost everything else
and now the exact same pattern is repeating as we approach year-end
except this time, $USELESS is up 163% from its yearly open while $PEPE is up just 14%
USELESS has outperformed PEPE by more than 10x this year
(and both memecoins have outperformed pretty much every other memecoin on a decent enough timeframe)
in a market this volatile and unpredictable, identifying the assets that consistently bounce the hardest after corrections is EVERYTHING
anyone can look like a genius during a broad market pump
but when the market gets choppy, capital starts separating the assets the market truly wants from everything else
the assets that get bid the hardest during every recovery are often the same ones that aggressively outperform when the market finally returns to a sustained uptrend
and all year long, not a single memecoin — old or new — has consistently demonstrated stronger relative performance than $USELESS
the market keeps showing you what it favors
at some point, you have to pay attention
$USELESS is THE memecoin of this cycle
and i think the gap between those who recognize it now and those who realize it in hindsight is going to be enormous
If $USELESS has one million holders, I'm one of them.
If $USELESS has 100 thousand holders, I'm one of them.
If $USELESS has one thousand holders, I'm one of them.
Fvcking bullish on $USELESS
Also bullish on our beloved bonk guy @theunipcs
