Ich hatte immer wieder vorgerechnet, dass die #Hamas-Zahl von ca. 73.000 in #Gaza getöteten falsch ist und das mit Quellen und Fakten ausführlich belegt. Ich kam damals auf eine reale Zahl von 50.000 Getöteten (abgezogen waren die auf natürlichem Wege gestorbenen Personen).
Sofort kamen die Israelhasser und drehten durch.
Die Zahl der getöteten Zivilisten habe ich auf in etwa 25.000 bis maximal 30.000 beziffert. Eine Quote von 1:1 von Terrorist zu Zivilist, was in einem urbanen Krieg dieser Art eine unglaubliche niedrige Quote ist. 1:7 bis 1:19 sind je nach Kriegsgebiet leider normal.
Meine Rechnung belegt also, dass #Israel die Zivilisten schützt und nur die Terrorgruppe angreift.
Ich habe ebenso klar gesagt, dass die Behauptung, die Mehrheit der durch Israel Getöteten seien Frauen und Kinder, eine dreiste antisemitische Lüge ist.
Nun hat die Hamas selbst Zahlen veröffentlicht und diese Zahlen bestätigen erschreckend perfekt, dass ich mit JEDEM Wort und mit JEDER Zahl Recht hatte.
- Die echte Zahl der Getöteten (Terroristen + Zivilisten) liegt aktuell bei ca. 53.000.
- Die Mehrheit der Getöteten sind Männer im wehrfähigen Alter
- Es gibt nahezu keine Hungertoten
- Die Quote Terrorist zu Zivilist ist 1:1
Dies sind keine Zahlen Israels. Das sind die offiziellen Zahlen des Hamas-Gesundheitsministeriums mit detaillierter Aufschlüsselung aller Todesursachen und Beschreibung der Opfer.

This is a real comparison between how Israel treats Muslims and how Palestine treats Jews.
One side is the aggressor.
One side calls for ethnic cleansing.
One side encourages violence and hate.
One side is an apartheid state.

Jews are now being blamed for the rise in violent hate against them. Imagine that.
Zionism is simply the belief that Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state. A safe haven for a people that have been expelled and targeting for millennia.
No one argues that criticism of Israeli government is off limits. That’s not antizionism. Antizionism is the insistence that the country shouldn't exist in the first place, and by extension, anyone who is a Zionist is somehow morally corrupt.
Replacing "Jews" with "Zionists" doesn't grant you a hall pass for rhetoric that is inciting actual violence against Jews around the world.
But you can keep pretending that your constant demonization of Israel and anyone who supports its existence isn't making antisemitism worse by the day.

There is or was no genocide in Gaza. The only genocide which occurred in this present conflict was committed by Gazan’s on 10/7 against Israelis and foreign guests when they raped, brutalized, and murdered thousands of them. The dark irony being that the first people murdered by Gazans were those who would help them get food and medical care in Israel - left wing kibbutzniks - who are diametrically opposed to Bibi and Likud. I stand against all violence against innocent people, Palestinian, Israeli, or any race, ethnicity, religion of your choice. I fight for people who contend with such depravity everyday. Do Israeli lives count? Do Jews? It doesn’t seem so lately.
Many, many times. See, Muslims and people of color in general have to apologize endlessly for violence done by terrorists and organizations and people we've never met or supported.
However, you, as a Civil Rights Attorney, defend and support Israel's genocide and occupation of Palestinians.

Hospitals are targeted. And behold, the streets are silent. No tents on campuses. No roaring crowds. No Parliament in endless mourning. No theatrical recognition of a state. Not even the usual prophets of outrage.
And so we ask, with sorrow rather than surprise: was it ever truly about the dead?
