Friends! It’s all going on for us at the moment! Baby Dog had a little benign cyst on his back, which he has managed to scratch off! He needs to wear his body suit for a few days whilst it heals. He took this is his usual ‘calm’ way and decided the answer to feeling better was a game of Hide & Seek with Ron.

Friends! I’ve only been on my new medicine for a few days but Mum thinks she is already seeing some small changes. I have a bit more energy, seem more alert, and I am sleeping a little less. But do you know what hasn’t changed? Baby Dog’s dedication to me. He’s been right by my side, watching over me, all the time. I love him ❤️

Excuse me! It’s Ron here. Baby Dog asked me (as his Deputy) to keep an eye on Malcy whilst he had a nap, because Malcy is on new medicine. So I did just that. Trouble is, I think Malcy was a bit confused about why I was keeping an eye on him? (Music sung by the children in Mum’s musical theatre class) ❤️

Friends! Mum can’t believe it… I’m scoffing the renal wet food! Nobody thought that would happen as it is notoriously untasty. Mum is so proud of me. I am sharing a picture of the packet in case anyone wants recommendations. It is also the Purina dry food that I like ❤️❤️

Friends! Percy isn’t the only one who can be skittish! It seems the Storms have also affected Ron, who seemed to be enjoying himself until he accidentally knocked something off Mum’s desk. Then he knew he was in trouble and scarpered! 😹

Friends! I just wanted to tell you that everything is going well so far. I am taking my thyroid medicine really well, and I quite like the dry renal support food. I have had quite a relaxed day and Mum is very proud of me 🩶

Friends! Firstly, if you live in the UK, don’t forget your clocks should have gone back during the night! 🕰️ Secondly, we hope you are all safe from #StormBoelo - it’s been extremely windy and rainy here and we don’t have the worst of it. Mum had to lock us out of the Catio 🙀 The storm has made Percy very skittish indeed! He’s obsessed with the noise of the rain on the skylight. Mum struggled to keep up with him as she was filming! 😹

Friends! I have NEWS! Firstly, thank you so much for all the comforting and reassuring comments you gave us yesterday. Mum didn’t want to admit how worried she was but she had a horrible day waiting for my blood test results to come through. You all helped SO MUCH. Results: I do have thyroid issues, but the Vet said it can be treated with medication which I will start today. I also have stage one kidney failure, but this is not terrible for my age. The vet said it could be a lot worse. I am switching to special renal support food and the vet is going to keep a close eye on me. So no need to worry. Here’s me eating my breakfast this morning. As you can see, I have a healthy appetite. And watch to the end to see what happens at the end of every meal! 😹

Friends! Yesterday Mum took me to the Vet for a check-up. She is a bit concerned that I have lost weight despite eating a lot, and my coat has got a bit scruffy. She suspects thyroid issues and I might need some medicine. I’ve had some blood tests. I’ll let you know what the results are. Percy, my Deputy, knew I wasn’t keen to go, and offered to go in my place. That’s dedication for you! ❤️
