Dude already changing his language because of democrat sweep
People should always be in control of the future. OpenAI is against the notion that it would be acceptable for people to be relegated to a role of doing things that “AI systems think makes sense to reward in humans”. People should not cede control of the future to superintelligence, and that requirement should ultimately constrain AI progress.

A saga in 3 acts: - DuckDB vs ClickHouse: Why we use both at PostHog - Why we rebuilt our data warehouse on DuckDB over ClickHouse - Why we're moving our warehouse product off DuckDB all of these in less than a year 💀
Would love to know what PostHog thinks the TCO of the entirety of their warehouse migration saga has cost vs just buying.

I don’t trust them. Period. Release the whole thing, not cherry-picked data that suits their false narrative. #onpoli
NEW: The Ford government now says it is willing to "consider" releasing portions of the KPMG audit into the private career colleges sector, under select conditions. "If there are opportunities to release information from the KPMG audit that do not compromise a potential OPP investigation, an Auditor General investigation or the ministry's efforts to obtain evidence, recover funds and hold bad actors accountable, we will consider doing so." Here's the minister's original comments: #onpoli

Tina Yazdani reported, Paul Calandra's TDSB supervisor, Gupta, was actively fighting a Toronto policy meant to 'protect school lands' from mid-rise development while he had more than twice as many meetings with $20B TDSB real estate arm as parents groups⬇️

software "engineering" right now be like
Ah yup. That was indeed me. No mallace intended. I've been running some agents to do signups + agentic testing on similar platforms. Just halted the harness I was designing around this as it was definitely going off the rails and reaching too far

In many jurisdictions this is a crime. In the US under Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, 18 U.S.C. §1030, in the UK under Computer Misuse Act (CMA) 1990, in Germany Strafgesetzbuch (StGB), and many others. justice.gov/jm/jm-9-48000-… legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1990/18/… gesetze-im-internet.de/stgb/

As a pilot*, I find it really fucking annoying that every non-qualified Dunning-Krugered armchair critic comes out for every aviation accident to provide their uneducated and often embarrassingly wrong takes on aviation in general. Even I refrain, and I'm more qualified than many! *: I'm a baby pilot. I flew for ~10 years, acquired around 2,000 hours. 1,000 of my hours were in a jet. I've flown to nearly every state in every season. Despite all that, I'm still wildly unqualified to make any sort of conclusions about most topics on here. So I don't. And yet, there are many who are simply passengers with zero hours logged whatsoever (or, non-A&P or even ground crew!) making grand claims about how aviation works, what regulatory bodies should/shouldn't do, pilot qualification judgements, etc. Gross.
