Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself. Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit. Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November. joebiden.com

In late 2023, protesters crashed the Scotiabank @GillerPrize ceremony to call out the bank’s outsize investment in an Israeli arms supplier. The aftermath serves as a reminder of the chasm between writers and corporate sponsors, writes @josiahneufeld.

Finally getting into @MollyECB issue of @RoomMagazine . So many incredible pieces surrounding vulnerability and feminine grit. A personal favourite is If Body/Dora by @sandypools which perfectly describes the obsession that comes with grief. Highly recommend!

BREAKING: Toronto Police have released data showing Black people were 230% more likely to have a police officer point a firearm at them when they appeared to be unarmed than white people.
I don't want to hear anyone say that systemic racism doesn't exist in policing EVER AGAIN.
