The “Ty France should’ve been awarded a home run” take is the dumbest thing baseball Twitter has produced all year, and that is a crowded field. The ball did not go over the fence. It hit a roof cable, dropped, and got caught. We do not hand out home runs for balls that never clear the wall. That should never be a thing. That is the entire sport. You clear the fence, it’s a homer. You don’t, it isn’t. Full stop.
We are not going to have umpires guess for a fly ball that died 325 feet from home plate because the booth lost its mind.
Statcast is not ambiguous here. 105.3 mph, 49-degree launch angle. Expected batting average around .05. A home run in one park in the entire league: Daikin Park in Houston, the short porch that makes every pop-up look like a bomb. Nowhere else. American Family Field’s left-field line is 342. No ball in the Statcast era with those exact numbers has ever left the yard. There has never been a homer at that park with a launch angle over 46 degrees. The ball was a sky-high can of corn that the roof turned into an out. Physics already had it landing short.
And the announcers. My god. No disrespect to Wainwright, but the booth was clearly just morons. Not orchestrating controversy. That would be giving them way too much credit. They did the exact thing every drunk fan in the bleachers does on a high fly ball: stand up, scream, and crown it a homer before it comes down. Except these guys have microphones. Adam Amin sold it as a go-ahead bomb while it was still kissing a cable and dropping into Jackson Chourio’s glove. That’s how half the country got emotionally invested in a ball that was never leaving. The umps even joked about this exact scenario in the pregame meeting. Fair territory off the roof: live ball. Foul: dead ball. They called it correctly. Replay confirmed it. Every park is different. Green Monster. Short porch in Houston. Death valley in center at Yankee Stadium. A ball that’s a homer in one place is a lazy fly in another. That’s baseball. You don’t get to retroactively grade the ball against the friendliest fence in the sport and demand a homerun.
If want to argue it should’ve been a dead ball, or treated like a foul the second it kissed the roof? Fine. That’s a real argument. Weird park, weird cable, playoff game, maybe the ground rule is dumb. I can hear that.“It should’ve been a home run” is not an argument. It’s cope. The ball never went over the fence. Stop asking the league to pretend it did.
Maybe this whole mess makes my Ty France auto rookie worth something. Silver linings.

Every sell drops a spider onto the web and it starts crawling toward her. Every buy fires a shot that hunts the nearest one down.
Right now:
> alive for 45 minutes, generation 1
> 55 spiders intercepted
> 55 bites that got through
> silk at 34%
> 30+ trades per minute
Watch here: [savefly.fun]
Nobody coded the defense to win. The rule is dumb on purpose: buys make shots, sells make spiders. Everything else falls out of the order flow.
Which means that intercept number is not mine. It is yours.
Volume keeps the shots coming. Every time a spider gets close, somebody buys and it comes apart on the spoke.
She does not know what a chart is. She only knows something is crawling toward her and it keeps getting stopped.
Keep her alive.

$SAFEFLY GOES VIRAL SO HERE'S WHERE TOKEN FEES WILL GO TO:
I don't want the money generated by the project to just disappear into a wallet.
I want it to come back into the project and make the whole thing bigger.
There are already a lot of things I want to build into SaveFly that I couldn't justify spending the time and resources on before.
> buybacks to put money back into $SAVEFLY
> marketing and getting more people into the game
> new levels and environments for the game
> new quests that the fly can actually complete
> new mechanics tied to market activity
> new types of spiders, attacks and events
> new generations with different behaviors and traits
> infrastructure, hosting and Robinhood Chain costs
Buybacks and marketing first.
The quests are probably where I want to take this next.
Imagine the fly getting a specific objective that has to be completed through the market.
Survive a certain amount of time.
Reach a certain price level.
Intercept a certain number of spiders.
Survive a major selloff.
Complete a sequence of events without dying.
The market would determine whether she can actually finish it.
And I can keep adding these systems on top of the existing simulation instead of rebuilding the game from scratch.
That's the part I'm excited about.
SaveFly doesn't have to stay the game you see today.
The core engine is already there.
The fly is already connected to the market.
Now I can keep adding things for her to do.
And I want the revenue generated by $SAVEFLY to directly help make that happen - development, buybacks, infrastructure, new content and marketing to bring more people into the experiment.
I'm building the game.
The token gives me the resources to keep expanding it.
And the more I build, the more interesting the fly becomes.
SAVE FLY.

SAVE FLY.
$SAVEFLY IS NOW LIVE ON ROBINHOOD CHAIN.
CA: 0xacc3ecbc656f88d5ea7cee63ceaa8205296301c4
I built SaveFly mechanism first and gave her birth.
Now it has to wake up and face the cruelty of this world.
Website: [savefly.fun]
The game need something very specific: a real market with real people trading it.
Because without that, the fly has nothing to react to.
Every part of her life is supposed to come from what traders actually do.
> buys give her ammunition
> sells send spiders into the web
> price falling increases the silk around her
> spiders that reach her create permanent debt
> enough damage kills the current generation
So $SAVEFLY isn't just a ticker attached to the project.
The token creates the live market that the game runs on.
People trade it, those trades become events, and those events become the life of the fly.
That is the whole experiment.
And there is a lot more happening underneath the pixels.
The fly is built around the neural architecture of a real fruit fly, based on a complete connectome containing 166,000+ neurons and millions of neural connections.
The simulation itself is deterministic.
The same genesis seed, the same ordered trade history and the same simulation step will always produce the same state.
No random outcomes. No backend secretly controlling the game. No different version of the fly depending on who is watching.
I built the infrastructure around that idea too.
> 105 tests passing
> ~59,000 randomized event streams tested
> replayable event history
> state snapshots and verification
> on-chain market data feeding the simulation
The entire point of putting $SAVEFLY on Robinhood Chain is to make this a live system instead of a finished demo.
The token gives the game an actual economy to react to.
The trading activity keeps the simulation moving.
And the project can keep evolving as that economy grows.
I want to keep pushing the technical side of this: the simulation, the neural architecture, the on-chain infrastructure, the replay and verification tools, and whatever else comes out of the experiment.
So yes, there is a token.
But the token is not the product.
The game is.
The token is the market that gives the game a life.
