Here’s a blast from 1990. We were walking up Great Gable in the Lake District with my first son, Lucas. I took him up the mountain on my back in a special harness. Happy faces and a new future as a father. Being a dad is always challenging but also the greatest joy of my life.

I'm 62 today and taking stock of what’s happened in my life this past year and where it is heading. Challenging times in the arts. I've never known it so bad. Now is a time to keep friends and family close. Love is more important than ever. In that regard I am richly blessed.
