SO proud of @alexaforcouncil, a fearless champion for working people & fellow Boricua 🇵🇷, who took on powerful interests in her first term on the NYC Council.
They didn’t like her dissent, and mounted a highly funded challenge to unseat her.
She won anyway. ¡Felicidades, Alexa!

I spoke to @ZohranKMamdani's field director Tascha van Auken about how the campaign managed tens of thousands of volunteers and built an unprecedented canvassing operation that knocked on doors more than 1.6 million times: cityandstateny.com/personali…

There’s an old saying: “Dime con quién andas, y te diré quién eres,” “Tell me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are,” @alexaforcouncil tells @jacobin about the City Council race on June 24.
Socialist New York City Council member Alexa Avilés is running for reelection against a Democratic primary candidate backed by big real estate and pro-Israel money. We spoke to her about her record and the forces that want her out of office. jacobin.com/2025/06/aviles-n…

Cuomo’s campaign has been one disaster after another, says @ZohranKMamdani spokesman Andrew Epstein. Cuomo has one way to go—which is down.
Here's the roadmap for how @ZohranKMamdani could come from behind in the NYC mayoral race and defeat former governor Andrew Cuomo who is currently leading in all the polls.
