My friend expressed frustration as a hardcore OoT fan/speedrunner who knows the game on a deep level, that they hate being in the position of having people ask them if theyre excited for the OoT remake, because their answer is "No, not at all." They don't want to be negative.

modern nintendo is so terrible it doesnt even surprise me. this sucks for speedrunning but outside of that it makes no sense to advertise it as “enhanced version using switch 2 hardware” when the game performs worse.
