Once the truth finally comes out, after five seasons, Duoduo finally gets her mother! And in the second half, here comes ANOTHER new grandson! Ji Lindong (Shi Kang) turns out to be the fourth grandson's (Wu Tianhao) twin older brother, with Yingbao jokingly ranking him as 3.5 😂 Honestly, I think he should be called Chen Tianxiang's (the third grandson) twin instead because those two look so alike. At first glance, he's nothing more than a blond troublemaker who seemingly can't take anything seriously. But there's a surprising twist to his identity that earns everyone's respect. He's actually an anti-drug police officer. He finally found a family to call home, but couldn't acknowledge them because of his mission. That's why he deliberately acted harshly and cut ties with the Ji family. The scene that completely broke me was when he knelt outside the Ji family home in the pouring rain to say goodbye. With their healthy relationship, adorable chemistry and mature communication, there's barely any unnecessary drama. They clear up everything before getting married, making the whole story comfortable to watch. They start as polite roommates, but once he falls in love, he turns into a total kiss addict... constantly kissing, hugging and teasing her until she blushes. When she's jealous, she won't let him kiss or hug her, yet he still quietly cuddles her to sleep while trying to figure out what he did wrong. Once he realizes his mistake, he always owns up to it and even writes her a formal self-criticism letter to apologize.
