UGH. 10 years & 4 months later, I re-located this footnote to an antislavery pamphlet pointing out it was printed on linen, not cotton, paper to avoid the material economy of slavery.... that REALLY shouldve made it into my book but didn't bc I forgot. Oh well. Here it is anyway.
