Acuff will be fine and have growing pains this year. The real story is Murray and what will be considered a horrible contract by the end of this year. While he’s a good defender he is limited offensively and not worth half of the contract they gave him.

Not worried about Acuff at allllll! I’m more worried about the contract the Kings gave Murray. Plays defense and can hit a wide open set 3. “Can” ….other than that? His contract and performance will be talked about until it expires.
On nights he can't hit a pull-up shit is going to be rough tho, this is why I say SAC haven't got a shot without Malik Monk
They need a 2nd advantage creator just so Acuff doesn't have to force it in terms of finding his scoring (and thus creation) rhythm
Not worried about these Acuff missed FGs
DJJ guarding you in your NBA debut is tough, but Acuff beat the first line of the Clippers plenty
It's just about reads. I think he needs to be more proactive as a passer both on the interior and with kickouts out of PnRs
Unideal debut for the Sacramento Kings. Shot profile and Acuff stood out for the wrong reasons.

Doug Christie is letting Darius Acuff Jr develop very bad habits that will hurt him and the team. It's really sad. Acuff is a project. He needs a real coach, a disciplinarian, who can teach him the game, the position and how to play it correctly. Scott Skiles would be great.
Him and Acuff in thr same boat efficiency-wise for their first game lol (I do think both will get better tho)
