Remember the start of the pandemic?
Cops chased people who paddled in the ocean, sat alone in cars, or played catch outdoors.
Swimmers were ordered to wear masks in pools.
It’s important we don’t forget how AUTHORITARIAN politicians are eager to be:
Covid: Don’t Let Them Off The Hook
4 years ago, we were told we had “15 days to slow the spread.” Covid’s "15 days" turned into years, and the loss of our freedoms increased. It’s important we don’t forget what happened.

The “warmth of collectivism” killed nearly 100 million people in the 20th century alone, 50 million in China, tens of millions in the Soviet Union, and millions more in North Korea. What was promised as solidarity and shared humanity instead delivered famine, labor camps, and mass death. Zohran Mamdani needs to read the The Gulag Archipelago

Donald Trump is, at his core, a big-government politician with profoundly misguided views on economics and the federal budget. He’s a more socially conservative Elizabeth Warren, which is to say he’s a 1980s Democrat.
Neither he nor Warren understands that the debt limit is a feature of the Constitution. It exists to protect Americans from a profligate government run by people like them.
Short of a constitutional amendment, there’s no such thing as “scrapping the debt limit”—at least not in the way that people imagine.
The need for congressional approval of borrowing is built into the Constitution. Only Congress has power to borrow money on the credit of the United States.
If you try to “scrap the debt limit,” then the new inherent debt limit is the current amount of federal borrowing.
If you indefinitely pause or authorize an unlimited debt limit, then you’re in clear violation of the Constitution. Congress can’t simply repudiate one of its constitutional obligations (certainly not in such a direct and obvious way).

Liberty and peace
require free markets and free trade. Tariffs are bad for all sides.
Free markets and free trade. Americans should have the liberty to purchase and exchange goods with minimal government interference. Tariffs violate these principles and are essentially a tax paid for by American families. More Republican Senators should stand with @RandPaul.

First declare a fake “emergency.”
Then announce “reciprocal tariffs,” using a nonsensical metric.
Then hand out subsidies to benefactors harmed by the tariffs.
Then blame companies for the economic malaise the government caused and impose price controls.
This is the playbook.

A trade deficit happens whenever you use money to buy something. This is not a loss. When you buy a good or service, you get something of value in exchange for money. Before money evolved, people bartered, and there were no trade deficits. They are a feature of a currency system.

“Away with the whims of governmental administrators, their socialized projects, their centralization, their tariffs, their government schools, their state religions, their free credit, their bank monopolies, their regulations, their restrictions, their equalization by taxation, and their pious moralizations!”

BREAKING: 🇨🇿 Czech Defense Minister Jana Černochová has just called to leave the UN for cheering Hamas terrorists. “Exactly 3 weeks ago, Hamas murdered over 1400 Israelis, more victims for their population than the militant Islamist organization al-Qaeda murdered in the US on 9/11. And only 14 countries, including ours, have spoken out clearly and understandably against this unprecedented terrorist attack perpetrated by Hamas terrorists! I am ashamed of the UN. In my opinion, the Czech Republic has no place in an organization that cheers on terrorists and does not respect the fundamental right to self-defence. Let's get out.”

The head of Hamas, from a far away 5 star hotel, calls on Palestinian women and children to sacrifice their lives for the “revolution.” Sickening.
Hamas is so dedicated to spilling the blood of innocent Israelis that they do not care about how many Palestinians are killed along the way.
“We need the blood of women, children, and the elderly of #Gaza... so as to awaken our revolutionary spirit."
