Someone drove in, set on fire a motorbike (AGAIN) in Beckton park on Sat/Sun when t. was 27 degrees. The fire burned a living tree, it didn't spread this time.. We need our green spaces back, not ASB hotsposts! @NewhamLondon @metpoliceuk @NewhamRecycles @rokhsanafiaz @JamesAsser
Why mothers in Newham can’t see or hold their babies for days and don’t know how they feeling? @EastLondonMVP @BroFalvey @ShonaSolly #COVID19
@NUHmaternity @NewhamHospital WHO states that babies being separated from mothers who are covid positive actually puts them at greater risk. Why are you barring mothers from NICU?
It is so sad that the farm that was so valuable asset in such a deprived area is not on top of priority list @rokhsanafiaz
@rokhsanafiaz @stephenctimms Finally got round to writing my hot-headed email challenging the decision to close newham farm. An unbelievably shortsighted response to a historic issue, robbing the community of something so special, with so much potential. @NewhamLondon @NewhamSue

Great litter picking session this morning in #Beckton thanks to all those who came. Great community effort. Thanks too to Gary & Mick from the waste team (who were camera shy) for taking it all away. #Newham #NewhamLondon
You recently said that people should consider adapting their lifestyles to protect our climate @KwasiKwarteng - so why are you allowing new oil and gas licences? Please make sure we create green jobs for our future instead. #KwasiPleaseAct

People close to @navalny insist that he is dying, in a real sense of the word, and calling for mass protests as it is the only thing to which Kremlin reacts.
Люди обычно избегают слова "умирает". Но сейчас Алексей умирает. При его состоянии это вопрос дней.

Stolen amazon land is being sold on @Facebook
Land grabbers are stealing and burning protected Amazon land reserved for Indigenous People. They then list the land on Facebook Marketplace.

Barclays' dirty secret? They’re the biggest fossil fuel funding bank in Europe! As a @BarclaysUK customer, I’m calling on them to stop investing in planet-destroying projects now.
Good food doesn’t have to cost the earth. But to address problems like food waste we need government action at #COP26 and beyond @AlokSharma_RDG bit.ly/30vOiCW
The UK must cast its @OECD vote with a green conscience! Coal boosting @MathiasCormann would undermine all our efforts to reach #netzero by 2050. @CSharrockParis: Vote for climate champion @MalmstromEU instead! #OECD @Dominicraab @AlokSharma_RDG #greenrecovery

With 111,475 signatures in the post to you, @RobertJenrick, demanding a public inquiry into the planned West Cumbria coal mine, what's your response? This affects all our futures, particularly young people - but where's their say in all this? @elijahmckenzee @slacctt

Thank you @BetterStsNewham for making the points so succinctly for rolling out emission based parking charges in @NewhamLondon @FFNewham @loveourstreets1 – at Stratford, London
We have written to @JamesAsser & @rokhsanafiaz in support of the emissions based parking permit charges. If we want clean air in our borough this is only the start, but it IS a start. If you want to write to your councillors in support please feel free to poach from our letter!
.@privilege757 @BALPApilots pls follow example of Virgin & refuse to participate in mass deportations. This flight will split up families, separate children from loving parents & deport people to a country where their lives may be in danger #StopThePlane detentionaction.e-activist.c…
15 BILLION trees are killed every year to make space for cattle, palm oil, and many things we buy everyday. But now the EU is considering a new law to ban all forest-killing products. #together4forests Sign the public consultation: secure.avaaz.org/campaign/en…
@MPSBeckton I found 5 bras and 1 women’s wig in Beckton park bushes, at the end of Neatscourt rd. hope it’s not related to a crime.
