Welp. My channel has also been hit by YouTube auto mods. I’m a little unsure where to go from here since my hopes arent up that YouTube will even glance at the appeal and I’m not a big creator or backed by anyone else so it’s just me on my own…

After 81 Days… My Channel Was Restored ❤️ My channel was restored on August 31, 2026, after it was removed on June 11, 2026. 81 full days of waiting, anxiety, trying, frustration… and finally, I received the result I had been waiting for since day one: My channel was reviewed, my appeal was accepted, and my channel was restored. I want to share what happened to me, not only to tell my story, but because I want to say something to everyone who is going through the same experience right now: Do not give up. Even if the wait gets long, that does not mean everything is over. How did this story begin? On June 11, I was editing the pinned comments on some of my videos. Just a few minutes later… My channel was removed. I immediately submitted an appeal and started waiting. One day… Two days… Three… Four… And there was still no response from YouTube. I then started contacting the YouTube Creator Support team, and I think many of you already know exactly what this experience is like… Links to policies, generic answers, and phrases like: “Please be patient.” “The relevant team is reviewing your case.” “Please wait until the review is completed.” But the problem was that I was sometimes receiving completely conflicting information. At one point, they told me the review was completed. Then they told me the internal team was still investigating my channel. Another time, they told me to keep waiting. And another time, they told me that submitting multiple appeals was the reason for the delay. I was stuck in the middle of all of this, with no clear idea of what was actually happening to my channel. And honestly… I don't want to remember this part too much. I moved to X After that, I decided to try reaching the YouTube team through X. I created an account and started posting. One post… Then I waited a day. Two days… No response. I posted again… And waited. Eventually, I received a response. They contacted me through DMs and asked me to provide all the information and explain why I believed the channel removal decision was incorrect. I prepared my message in detail and sent it to them. Then another waiting period began. One day… Two days… Three… And eventually, the response came: “Our internal team reviewed your channel, and the channel is in violation of YouTube’s policies.” That was when I started feeling like I was going around in circles. 81 Days of Pressure During this period, I contacted YouTube Support so many times, both through X and through Creator Support. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach a clear solution. Sometimes I received different information, and I had no idea what I was supposed to believe. This continued for 81 days. And I don't want to hide the impact this period had on me. There was a huge amount of stress, exhaustion, constant overthinking, tension, headaches, and I gradually lost interest in work. I would turn on my computer… Then turn it off. Because I no longer knew what I could do. Even sleep wasn't really a break. I would go to sleep thinking about my channel, and wake up thinking about it. And the same question kept repeating in my mind every single day: Will my channel come back, or is everything over? But on Day 70, I decided to change the way I was dealing with the problem. Instead of simply waiting, I started taking more organized and serious action. 1️⃣ I created and verified an X account I wanted a way to reach a larger number of people whenever I talked about my situation. And having the blue verification badge helped me reach a much larger audience whenever I posted something new. 2️⃣ I started following creators facing similar problems Channels that had been removed, creators who had lost monetization, and people dealing with issues involving YouTube's systems. I interacted with their posts, liked them, shared their posts, and tried to become part of the community of people facing similar problems. 3️⃣ I started speaking publicly about my case I posted about my situation, explained why I believed the removal of my channel was wrong, and why I believed there was a problem with the automated review system. If you want to know the details, you can go back and look at my previous posts. 4️⃣ I started sharing the responses I was receiving I shared some of the responses I received from Creator Support and explained why I didn't believe those responses were sufficient. Sometimes I expressed my frustration and criticism very strongly, but I was careful not to turn it into insults or abuse. 5️⃣ I changed the way I communicated with YouTube This was one of the most important steps. Instead of simply saying: “My channel does not violate the policies.” I started collecting YouTube's Spam policies and reviewing them point by point. I explained the nature of my channel's content in detail and explained why I believed each section of the policy used in the decision did not apply to the content I was publishing. I was trying to turn the case from simply: “Please restore my channel.” Into: “This is the policy. This is my content. And these are the reasons why I believe this policy does not apply to my channel.” Even then, when I didn't get a result, the same responses continued. 6️⃣ I started talking about legal escalation I made it clear that if the issue wasn't resolved, I would have to seek legal assistance and pursue the matter through the official legal channels available to me, because I believed I had evidence supporting my position that the channel had been removed incorrectly. My goal was not to start a fight. My goal was simply to say: I will not stop defending my work. Then what I had been waiting for finally happened… My posts started reaching a decent number of people, and some of them exceeded 10,000 impressions. Then came the morning of August 31, 2026. I woke up… I checked my channel. And there it was: My channel was back. It had been reviewed. My appeal had been accepted. After waiting for 81 days. After 81 days of not knowing whether my channel would ever come back… It came back. ❤️ But I learned something more important than the restoration of my channel itself. And please, don't stop reading here. During this experience, I realized that there are a huge number of creators facing similar problems. Channels being removed. Channels losing monetization. Accounts stuck in long reviews. And creators who don't know where to turn or who they should even talk to. And I believe one of the biggest mistakes we make is this: Everyone tries to fight this battle alone. And that is the biggest mistake. YouTube is a massive platform. Hundreds of thousands of channels are removed, and a large portion of those removals are justified. But that makes it even more important to understand that you shouldn't have to face a difficult situation completely alone. When you face a major problem with a massive platform while standing alone, it's very easy to feel powerless. You will get tired. You will become frustrated. You will start thinking about giving up. But what if we weren't alone? What if we brought together the people facing the same problems? What if you created a real community where creators could exchange information, experiences, and ways of communicating with YouTube, while helping each other find actual solutions? If you enter this battle alone, it will be much harder. Do something. Create groups that bring together creators who believe their channels were removed incorrectly. Imagine if 100 people posted about the same creator's case. Wouldn't that make it much easier for the case to reach a real YouTube team member who could actually review that channel's situation? Try it. Just 100 people. Help make that channel trend on X. And when that creator's problem is resolved, move on to another creator and do the same thing again. This is a solution. You can do it. I used to think YouTube was simply being unfair. But after my experience, I believe something different: YouTube can be fair — you just need to reach a real human being. If you're completely alone, the chance of reaching the right person can be very small. But if you are part of a group working together, your voice becomes much harder to ignore. This is the idea I believe in now. Don't turn your experience into a tragedy that you have to live through alone. Turn it into an experience that helps someone else. If you have experienced a channel removal, demonetization, or a similar problem and you genuinely believe it happened by mistake, don't think that your story doesn't matter. Your story might be exactly what someone else needs to hear so they don't give up. And I want to say this to everyone who is still waiting: If your channel was removed and you genuinely believe there was a mistake… Don't give up. If you've been waiting for days or weeks… Don't assume that everything is over. If you've received automated responses or answers that haven't helped you… Look for other ways to communicate, document your case, understand the policies, and explain your position clearly. Defend your rights respectfully, with evidence, and through the official channels available to you. I waited 81 days. And in the end… My channel came back. So if you're reading this right now and your channel is still suspended or was removed in a way you genuinely believe was incorrect, I want you to remember one thing: Don't let 81 days of waiting convince you that everything is over. Sometimes, what you see in the middle of the road is not the end of the journey. Keep going. Try again. Learn. Document your case. Ask for help. And help others. Because one day, you might open your channel again… And see the message you've been waiting for all this time: Your channel has been reinstated. ❤️ And from there… You start again.

YouTube just admitted they wrongly banned this creator after he went viral. That's the problem: you only get a real human review if enough people see your post. My 11-year, 280K channel was terminated 99 days ago for 'Harmful & Dangerous', and they've never gave me a chance for a human review @TeamYouTube, do I need to go viral too?
Alright @TeamYouTube , I’m going to do this in English; perhaps they’ll actually reply for once. I am contacting you one last time regarding the removal of my channel which had 190,000 subscribers, based on erroneous grounds. It consisted simply of video game gameplay, not content intended for sexual gratification. I am requesting a final, serious review of my case by a human before pursuing further remedies under the DSA and initiating legal proceedings with my lawyer. Above all, I would prefer an amicable resolution.

Brothers and friends, let us make this our motto: “Behind every channel, there is a human being.” To the @TeamYouTube and Executive Leadership, We eagerly await the day when you truly realize the amount of pain that some of the decisions made by your automated systems have caused — whether through channel removals, demonetization, or subjecting content to automated reviews that may fail to properly understand the context. How many people have gone to sleep crying after losing their channels, believing that what happened to them was unjust? How many creators have spent weeks or even months waiting for a response to their appeals? How many people have lost the source of income they depended on for years? And how many people are still holding on to hope that their channels will be restored, despite believing that they did not violate any policies? How many people have seen their relationships with their families and friends become strained because of the psychological pressure caused by waiting, simply hoping to receive a fair review? And in the end, their appeal may be rejected within seconds or minutes, or they may receive no response for many long months — without knowing when an answer will come, or whether their appeal has even reached a real human being who can listen to their case and understand its details. This is not simply about a channel being terminated or revenue being stopped. Behind every channel there is a human being, time, effort, dreams, and an entire livelihood. Many creators have found themselves trapped in a cycle of struggling with your automated support systems, automated responses, and appeals that do not always seem to reach your “experts” or internal review team — if such a team actually exists at all. This is how your automated system sometimes treats us: A cartoon image of a girl may appear in a video, and the context is misunderstood, leading to severe action against the channel — such as removing the channel entirely or completely disabling its monetization. A creator may joke with their audience, and their words may be taken out of context and interpreted as harassment or bullying. A creator may make videos about games and showcase their content, just as I do, only for their activity to be incorrectly classified as spam or deceptive content. A creator may talk about economics, and their activity may be misunderstood as deceptive commercial activity. A creator may include a link to their website, page, or contact method, and it may be interpreted as directing viewers to unwanted external websites. Do you realize the scale of the disaster that can occur when an automated system makes a life-changing decision, such as terminating an entire channel? Perhaps a creator violated a policy unintentionally. Does it really make sense for everything they have built — potentially all of their channels — to be removed, and for that person to be completely banned from YouTube forever? We are not asking for special treatment. We are not asking for the rules to be ignored. We are not asking YouTube to allow policy violations. We are asking for something much simpler: We are asking for a fair review. We are asking for a transparent review. We are asking for a genuine human review when the decision is life-changing. And we ask that creators not be left for weeks or months in a state of uncertainty, not knowing what happened or when they will receive an answer. We understand that automated systems can help you manage a platform of this enormous scale. But they should not have the final word when the decision concerns years of someone’s work, their source of income, or their future. Behind every channel, there is a human being. A human being who woke up early to create content. A human being who spent hours, days, and months building an audience. A human being who may have invested their savings, time, and dreams into their YouTube project. A human being with a family, responsibilities, and a life outside the screen. So when you take action against a channel, remember that you are not simply pressing a button inside a system. You may actually be pressing a button that changes someone’s entire life. We do not want a war with YouTube. We want to be part of this platform. We simply want to feel that there is a human being on the other side when something goes wrong. Behind every channel, there is a human being. And that human being deserves, at the very least, to be heard, to be understood, and to receive a fair review. @YouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTubeIndia @YouTubeGaming @youtubemusic @nealmohan

This is no longer funny again. Even my payout was taken from my adsense 🤦🏾‍♂️💔 YouTube has demonetized my channel for the second time, and I genuinely believe this needs another look. Please help me tag YouTube in the comments so this can be seen. 🙏 My content is storytelling/entertainment, created using my own scripts, editing, and stock footage it’s not AI-generated content. I’ve already sent @YouTube @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators a DM with the details. Please look into this and consider a human review.

WORST 2 MONTHS OF MY LIFE My life’s work has been taken away from me. My YouTube channel was terminated, with over 100,000 subscribers. Since 2021, I’ve poured countless hours into building @smbgt, uploading original transformed Shorts and connecting with an amazing community. Building this channel required years of relentless work, sacrifice, and dedication. Just 3 hours after @YouTube officially awarded me my Verification Badge, the channel was mistakenly terminated for "Spam/Scam." My automated appeal was rejected by a bot in under two hours without a real human review. July 5th, @YouTube took everything away from me… I urgently ask @TeamYouTube and @YouTubeCreators to manually investigate, escalate this glitch to the Trust & Safety team, and reinstate @smbgt. Years of my life, my community, and my dedication are tied to this channel. Please help me get it back. RETWEET PLEASE!!!

ALMOST 80 DAYS SINCE YOUTUBE TERMINATED MY CHANNEL. 760K+ subscribers. Over 205 Million views in the month before it was removed. More than two months spent trying to get an explanation from @TeamYouTube. I made Roblox gameplay videos that I recorded and edited myself. On July 2, the entire channel was terminated for “Spam, deceptive practices and scams.” I contacted Creator Support. I followed up with TeamYouTube here on X. YouTube says the decision has been reviewed and upheld, including through a management review. But after all of that, I still haven’t been told what specific content or behaviour on my channel caused the termination. I have read the policy. Sending me the same policy link again does not explain what I supposedly did. I still have my original recordings and editing files. I submitted evidence because I want it considered, but I haven’t received a clear answer about whether those files were actually examined. Meanwhile, TeamYouTube has repeatedly told me to wait for updates. Email support has told me its reviews are concluded and that further replies may go unanswered. It is exhausting watching the channel stay gone while every conversation ends without answering the questions I raised. There was a real person behind those videos. I put my time and work into recording, editing and building that channel, and I’m still here trying to get it back. @TeamYouTube, I’m asking for a fresh review that addresses the evidence I submitted and identifies the actual conduct behind this decision. I believe the termination was a mistake, and I want it restored. My channel: youtube.com/channel/UCNrMEIM…

Thank you for collecting these stories. I'm a freelance creator from Japan, and I believe my channel was wrongly terminated. 1. Channel profile picture: attached. 2. Content: Japanese political commentary. Each video was individually researched and edited using primary sources, official statements, and news reports, with AI narration and avatar presentation. 3. Termination notice received: August 25, 2026. Reason: “Spam, deceptive practices and scams.” I appealed, but the termination was upheld. No specific video or activity has been identified to explain the violation. I did not use bots, buy engagement, participate in sub4sub, or include sales or investment solicitation links. YouTube Studio still says my appeal is under review, despite messages saying the review is complete. This has seriously affected my livelihood. I'm asking for a genuine human review and a clear, case-specific explanation. Thank you for giving affected creators a place to share their experiences. youtube.com/channel/UC_WjyMi…

@nealmohan @TeamYouTube @YouTube You need to address the issue of channels being removed for reasons that do not apply to us. Support: Our issues and problems are neglected; we receive automated responses that fail to grasp the actual problems we are facing. Appeals: Appeals enter your system and vanish for months. When we contact support, we are told our channel has already been reviewed—even though the status still shows as "under review." We are not prisoners; we are creators and content producers. Your treatment of us has become deeply distressing; after years of hard work, we wake up to find our channels completely gone. Fix your automated system—it removes channels without cause. Fix your technical support team; their responses are completely unhelpful.
Continuing our look at the design principles shaping how we build @YouTube, our second principle is to prioritize relevance ruthlessly. We want the features you use the most to be easy to find. We've reorganized actions on the watch page for a cleaner, more polished look.

When you get rejected by a bot, you quickly run to Creator Support. But when I talked to many support agents, they said, “The review is done, and the decision stands.” Many of the replies I saw looked more like AI than human responses. They don’t understand the context of your appeal or message. Please, I want my monetization back. @TeamYouTube, please reinstate my monetization.

🚨 STOP SCROLLING — THIS COULD AFFECT ANY CREATOR! When AI and automated enforcement systems make a mistake, a creator can lose years of hard work in a single decision. Many creators are raising concerns about YouTube’s “Spam, Deceptive Practices and Scams” policy. This policy is intended to address genuine spam, deceptive behavior, scams, misleading activity and similar violations. But what happens when the policy does not actually apply to a creator’s channel, yet an automated system still flags or terminates it? That is the serious issue. Creators spend years building their channels, creating content, growing communities and supporting their livelihoods. A mistaken automated decision can put all of that at risk. And there is an important question about “FINAL” decisions. Some creators are told that their decision is FINAL. They continue fighting for 3, 5 months or even longer — and in some cases, their channels are eventually reinstated. So if a decision is truly “FINAL,” how can it later be reversed? If automated systems can make mistakes, creators deserve a genuine human/manual review when their entire channel is at stake. My own channel is an example. I firmly believe that my channel did not violate the Spam, Deceptive Practices and Scams policy, yet it was terminated under this policy. 📺 My channel: youtube.com/channel/UC-QByrb… This is not just about one creator. Many creators are raising similar concerns about automated enforcement, unclear decisions and the difficulty of getting meaningful human review. 🚨 @FTC , please look into these concerns. Creators deserve transparency, meaningful appeals and a real opportunity for human review when an automated decision can affect years of work and their livelihood. AI should help protect platforms — not become an unquestionable final judge of a creator’s future. 📢 If you care about creators and fairness, please LIKE, SHARE and REPOST this. Help amplify the voices of creators who are fighting to protect years of their work. ⚖️ Behind every channel, there is a human being. ❤️ Creators deserve transparency, human review and fairness. #YouTube #YouTubeCreators #CreatorRights #SpamPolicy #AI #Creators #Fairness
