October half-term is here for many families in the UK, which means a bit of household madness for a few days. I spent a few hours building Little Line Studio, a free drawing teacher for kids and their grown-ups. Grab some pencils and paper and follow along: little-line-studio.vercel.ap…

This little project sparked a bigger dream: to bring free creative learning to kids around the world 🌎 I would love to add more languages, handwriting and other pen and paper activities for future school breaks. Built using: @tldraw for the teacher 's canvas @ElevenLabs for voice and music generation @vercel for hosting @OpenAI gpt-6.1 Terra to help build it, including the into clip I loved finding a Venezuelan Spanish voice, its a little detail that helps my daughter stay connected to her roots. I would love your ideas and support!

Traditions and routines might help here, especially when raising kids. My daughter has just entered the UK school system and one of my favourite things is how much her school encourages parents and kids to read. Kids pick and borrow a new book every week and the school hosts reading activities for children and parents together. This is completely new to me. I wish the school system in Venezuela had encouraged such activities. Habits like these could be part of the antidote.
We're about to enter a period where not reading or writing becomes as ubiquitous as smoking once was. We can hope people will eventually realize this is bad for them, as they did with smoking. But this is far from certain; the cost may not be as obvious.

agree that voice is a great medium for interacting with intelligence. still a big unsolved problem.
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

we need a geek squad for ai. the tools are getting better, but many people still need someone to show them what ai can actually do for their job. i joined @mtslive to discuss the @stateofai report and why helping people use these tools is an opportunity in its own right.

Cursor’s harness is seriously underrated. I hardly see anyone talking about it. No wonder they were able to build such an amazing product like Grok Bot. SpaceX AI’s acquisition of Cursor might be one of the best acquisitions in recent times. It’s already made a huge difference for Grok.

This was a really nice conversation to listen to. I’m looking forward to seeing the non-coding tools the team is cooking
I read Pi because the code is good, it's well thought through, it's simple, it works. Armin, and Mario share their experience building Pi, and how they're thinking through their roadmap. Such an honour to sit down with amazing engineers (:
