I wonder what @BeanzJonny thinks about what's happened.
Founded an app that had traction for a while and then disappeared... or is he too busy shooting Youtube videos?
One Meebit is up for grabs by the fastest player across all 30 levels of the Castle map on Nightshades Escape. Come hang with game designer @nothaslu tomorrow to watch how we approaches the game.
We will have 3 more maps with 3 more Meebits as prizes next month!
Calling all web3 gamers! Please join @nothaslu on our livestream tomorrow to watch him play through all 30 levels of the Castle map challenge.
Tune in on Tuesday October 27 at 10:30am EDT.
Reminder that the fastest player by Halloween will win one Meebit!
Looking for cozy autumn Paris lunch and dinner recommendations.
Very sad to hear that Les Enfants du Marché burned down btw.
Saying “we’ve never extracted from web3” while dumping millions of dollars worth of your token on the community every month is intellectually dishonest at best, but really it’s just a straight up lie.
Adding a better way to explore which Meebits share traits with the one you select, with concentric layers showing their degree of similarity.
Matt and John refer to Meebs as "little software pieces" and while we're still just barely scratching the surface, I can totally see what they mean.
Update on the 20k Meebits mosaic for our Meebco corporate website. Full bodies are now available; they look tiny! You can also pick a trait and see every Meeb with it either in the mosaic or as a group. It's so cool I asked Claude to make the video below to show y'all!
AI is making me feel child-like wonder at 40.
I woke up this morning to pics of the Dissected from the drone show (thanks friends!) and sent them to my local Claude back at home (I’m upstate for the weekend). Since that machine has access to Meeb models, it was able to add the little crowd of Meebits you see at the bottom of the picture, edit the light spill effect out, and add our logo. All while laying in bed.
The fact that Larva Labs shipped Meebits with 3D models is a huge advantage, as we are able to render Meebs with 100% fidelity, rather than rely on an image-generating model each time. We want to make sure that we always showcase Meebits as they were created by Matt and John, because they’re art. Opus 5.5 has been a huge unlock for that.
On a train upstate so just prompting from my phone but the “Meebits vs ________” thingy (whatever it’s called) is getting more hilarious 🤣. Unlike the mosaic for the Meebco site, this project is completely for my amusement lol.
You know those videos that imagine who'd win a battle between 1000 humans and 50 lions and so on?
I asked Opus 5.5 to take all 20k Meebits and create a simulator to pit them against different creatures and this is the first result. It's amazing what you can build when your NFTs come with all types of models you can use.

Have you played Marfa Afterlight yet?

I built an interactive Meebits mosaic inspired by the Punk wall at @nodefnd in Palo Alto while working on a new corporate website for Meebco.
Planning to ship it next week. What else should I add to it? You can browse all 20k Meebits by number and type so far.
