The ECDoH reports that, following a suspected food poisoning incident in Msintsi, four of the seven affected children have been discharged, one remains in critical care, and two sadly passed away. Investigations are ongoing, with food samples and clinical tests underway.

For us to surge ahead, we need to move together in unison, support each other, and ensure that all cadres of hospital pharmacy in both public and private settings are fully engaged and included.
The work that we do as hospital pharmacists, should be valued and cherished...as we hold extremely important roles in the multidisciplinary team looking after our patients best interests.
Today, we celebrate ourselves, on World Hospital Pharmacist Day...yes, we have world pharmacist day in September, but because we are hospital pharmacists, we are just that extra bit special 😉
