With another semester ending, here's your annual reminder that teaching evaluations systemically disadvantage women. Even when controlling for grades and other factors, students (esp. males) consistently give female professors lower scores. This can have serious ramifications.🧵

In case this got lost at the bottom of the thread, bumping this stat #Chicago has already attained today, a maximum heat index of 114° at O'Hare (prior to noon!), the highest since July 30, 1999. #ILwx
*Update* Within past few minutes, as of 11:47 AM, O'Hare has been at 94° temperature/80° dew point temperature for a heat index of 114°, the highest heat index for Chicago's official climate site since July 30, 1999 as noted above at the start of the thread. #ILwx (4/4)
