An update on Constitution Hill after @UnibetRacing visited the yard this morning. You can watch the full video on the link below 👇 youtube.com/watch?v=gllEZqxO…

We all very much appreciate all the interest let alone the speculation as to Constitution Hill’s next race, but, between Michael & I and all the team, we have decided, in order to avoid further uncertainty and any possibility of a late withdrawal, to wait for the September Stakes at Kempton a week on Saturday, as opposed to Windsor this weekend. There are, in fact, several factors apart from the ground that have influenced our decision. Having spoken to jockeys who rode at Windsor last night, and Charlie Rees (Clerk of the Course), who I know is doing everything to combat this dry spell, the chances of the ground being suitable on Saturday are highly unlikely. Kempton is obviously going to be a highly competitive Group 3, but we have got to start somewhere in order to find out where he belongs and establish an autumn campaign. We are hoping that one of the two jockeys who know him could be available for the September Stakes, which they are unlikely to be this weekend. We all think he is in excellent shape and although he will undoubtedly benefit from this run he is ready to do himself justice.

The spring sales season is nearly here, and with it comes the chance to be part of life at Seven Barrows 🏇 Following a terrific campaign, with a 24% strike-rate and 40% of our Cheltenham Festival runners finishing in the placings, there’s plenty to be excited about as we look ahead. Whether you’re considering sole ownership, syndication or leasing, there are a number of ways to get involved—whatever your level of experience. Racehorse ownership brings you closer to the sport, the team and the journey behind every runner. We’d be delighted to welcome new and existing owners to be part of what comes next. Having spoken with Michael Buckley, we’ve taken the decision not to run Constitution Hill at Newbury on Saturday. It’s very frustrating as we were keen to run, but after walking the course with George Hill this morning we felt the ground is just too quick for him — he’s a big, heavy horse and we couldn’t take the risk. He is in excellent form and we are desperately keen to run him before his summer break.

Numero Ventotto makes a brilliant start to her career with this highly impressive debut success @MarketRasenRace under @NdeBoinville. Well done to owners @HotToTrotRacing & Robert Waley-Cohen 👏
