I feel growing up reading comic books has helped me become a better adult. Lessons of fairness, equality, and having empathy for others were taught to me in this wonderful way. I thank God I had parents that were open enough to view comic books as positive things in my life.

It's been 24 hours and I still have yet to see any NRA member standing up to this military occupation they always say they need guns for.
I'm having a morning of jittery jangly anxiety, so I can only imagine what's going through the minds and hearts of black people right now. This is a metric ton of bullshit going on in this world, and sadly I think it's necessary to create change. Stay safe if you can.

Being raised on comics books made me understand that it’s wrong when bullies win, and I’ll always be grateful to comic books for that.
I'm holding out hope for some good news. That we hear that #ShadGaspard has been found alive and well. I'd never say that the universe owes us anything, but I'd definitely have a little pep in my step to hear that something GOOD happened, you know?
