A mentor, a bandmate, a friend, and a continuing inspiration. To know him, is to ♥️ him. He stays a Blessing In My Life.

Twelve years ago today, we lost one of the most influential musicians of a generation. Jack Bruce, powerhouse vocalist, brilliant composer, multi-instrumentalist and a true pioneer who redefined what the bass could do in rock music. From ‘Sunshine of Your Love’ with Cream, to Jack’s incredible solo work, his legacy remains a treasure chest of endless discoveries. Thank you for the music, Jack. You are deeply missed but never forgotten. 🌹 🕊️✨

The bourgeoisie of the whole world, which looks complacently upon the wholesale massacre after the battle, is convulsed by horror at the desecration of brick and mortar!

With the late, great Oliver Reed currently wowing 2026 audiences all over again with his incredible performance in the restored version of Ken Russell’s ‘The Devils’, I wanted to share this amazing clip of him from 1985.
The rather low-res clip comes from ‘In at the Deep End’, a BBC series in which presenter Paul Heiney tries his hands at a profession he had zero experience in. For this episode, Heiney was preparing for an acting role opposite Michael Caine in ‘Water’ and went to Oliver Reed for some pointers on how to play a villain.
Please enjoy what happens next.

The Maltese Falcon was released 85 years ago today! Starring Humphrey Bogart in his first leading role as private eye Sam Spade, the film became one of the defining classics of film noir. In the words of Bogie's famous ad lib, it was "the, uh, stuff that dreams are made of."

The late great David Axelrod explaining how he initially hated sampling for taking jobs from musicians – at least before Dre sampled him and allowed him to have "Screw You" money.
Then he conducts "The Edge," the song looped for "The Next Episode."

Hahaha that's awesome. I'm glad that, at the end of the day, we can all just put on our white tie attire, go to our $5000 per person gala, and laugh about this whole "shooting a man in the neck with an AR-15 while his son was in the car" thing. Thank you, people's mayor!

This is Antoine Semenyo hitting the second fastest speed of the season against Liverpool - 35.74 km/h.
What’s really interesting about the clip is that Virgil Van Dijk - the chasing defender - hits 34.94 km/h on the same recovery sprint. And wins the challenge.
He’s 35 years old.
