The Eze discourse is interesting man cause he has always been a moments player. At palace everything flowed through him therefore he was able to impact the game far more often. At Arsenal that’s not the case but he has had big moments for us. I liked his response last night.

🗣️STEP7 to PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL: O’rian Reid‼️💎
The incredible rise of O’Rian Reid, whose journey is another reminder that rejection doesn’t have to mean the end of the road!
Released by West Ham just before U15 level, Reid refused to give up on his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
His journey took him into the depths of non-league football, starting at Step 7 with Gala Wilton before progressing through Hartpury College, Step 4 side Hartpury FC and Step 5 outfit Lydney Town.
Along the way, he put in countless hours of additional work with coach Mike Hill.
A showcase opportunity through Non-League Gems helped put him on Barnsley’s radar, and in August 2026, he signed his first professional contract at just 18.
After impressing for the U21s and making his senior debut in the EFL Trophy, Reid reached another huge milestone yesterday, making his LEAGUE ONE DEBUT AGAINST STOCKPORT COUNTY! 🔥
From academy rejection to Step 7 football, and now playing in the EFL before his 19th birthday.
What a journey. What a reminder of the talent, resilience and determination that exists throughout non-league football! 💎👏🏽
If you watch Sutton play you understand sometimes it’s not all about having money. Time on the training ground with a top level coach with a clear Philosophy can get you the motion.

🔴 NEW SIGNING! 🟢
We’re delighted to announce the signing of forward Jordi Ebanda
Jordi of course donned the red and green in our play off final last season.
Great to have you here permanently Jordi!
Very talented Gaffer!!!
ONE OF THE MOST INTERESTING COACHES OUTSIDE THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Chris Agutter’s rise through non-league deserves serious attention. 📈
At Worthing, he delivered their highest-ever National League South points total — 88 points, missing the title by ONE point.
Sutton then paid compensation to get him.
He arrived in October 2025 with the club in the National League relegation zone and guided them to safety with two games to spare.
Fast-forward a year and Sutton are now just TWO points outside the play-offs, with Agutter openly targeting a return to the EFL.
And he’s doing it at a club that does not have one of the biggest budgets in the division, making Sutton’s progress even more impressive.
But it’s not just the results.
His teams are aggressive, front-footed and possession-based, but he’s shown an ability to adapt tactically rather than being married to one system. Add his emphasis on pressing, player development and strong man-management and you can understand why his reputation continues to grow.
From Hastings ➡️ Worthing ➡️ Sutton.
At this rate, surely it’s only a matter of time before EFL clubs come calling.👏
