I completely understand that people in the US might not understand how doctors get paid in a country with universal healthcare. They haven’t exactly grown up with it. 1/2

In the UK, sure, doctors and nurses don’t exactly get paid as much as doctors in the US, but if I was a doctor, surely I’d feel that helping people is more important than money! Which is why I don’t understand this specific justification for non-universal healthcare.
