That means it ranks worse than 64% of Georgia high schools, and 5th of 11 ranked high schools in Henry County. GreatSchools gives it a 3/10 and rates it below average among Georgia schools serving the same grades. On the Georgia Milestones end-of-course exams, proficiency rates ranged from 16.9% in Algebra I to 34.1% in American Literature. The state averages for those two tests were 44% and 42%. Her school under her leadership was operating at HALF of what the GA average was... 16.9%.... Her main argument was that test scores show schools need new leadership.... These are primarily procedural errors, equipment/memory-card issues, long lines, record-keeping/chain-of-custody lapses, and high volumes of voter challenges. Multiple state investigations, audits, recounts, and monitors have found errors and issued reprimands. Major documented issues - 2018 midterms: Long lines at some precincts (e.g., one opened with only three machines); equipment mix-ups led to extended polling hours. - 2020 June primary: Extreme long lines (hours-long waits, some >5 hours; many precincts closed late); delayed or missing absentee ballots; staffing/training problems with new voting machines amid COVID. State Election Board referred aspects of the investigation to the attorney - 2020 general election (most scrutinized): - Brief water/pipe leak at State Farm Arena delayed absentee ballot processing - Delayed results reporting and “suitcases of ballots” allegations after poll watchers left - Risk-limiting audit batch-tally inconsistencies due to human error - Machine recount: ~3,000 ballots double-scanned (duplicate images identified); improper procedures.
