PIMA COUNTY: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. THE TAXPAYERS DESERVE BETTER! Here is yet another example of what I believe to be the incompetence and misplaced priorities of the Pima County Attorney’s Office, under Laura Conover and Deputy County Attorney Samantha Walker. I was arrested on June 8, 2026. After my charges were dismissed twice, the prosecution refiled the case, and now, more than FOUR MONTHS later, I am facing another arraignment. Why? Because the case was previously filed in the WRONG COURT! Let that sink in. The resisting arrest charge is now gone. I believe pursuing that charge would have opened the door to additional testimony and evidence, potentially involving Savannah Guthrie. Instead, the prosecution is now pursuing two Class 2 misdemeanors: obstructing a public thoroughfare and maintaining a public nuisance. But here is where this becomes absolutely ridiculous. The prosecution is now alleging that I URINATED inside a privacy tent! I categorically deny that allegation. IT NEVER HAPPENED. The incident was recorded on video, and I maintain that the footage contradicts the prosecution's claims. I believe law enforcement and prosecutors have access to evidence that should have resolved this issue long ago. So let me get this straight. We have serious problems involving fentanyl, public drug use, crime, and homelessness throughout Pima County. Drug paraphernalia and open drug activity are visible in our neighborhoods and around bus stops, yet the County Attorney's Office continues dedicating taxpayer-funded resources to prosecuting me over a collapsible privacy tent and an alleged roadway obstruction? WHERE ARE THE PRIORITIES? WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY? I believe this prosecution is frivolous, unnecessary, and a tremendous waste of taxpayer resources. I also question whether my investigative journalism and public criticism of local authorities have influenced the decision to continue pursuing these charges. I am asking my family, friends, supporters, fellow journalists, and members of the Criminal Network community to respectfully write Deputy County Attorney Samantha Walker and express their concerns about this prosecution, the expenditure of public resources, and the importance of reviewing all available video evidence before proceeding. Please keep your correspondence professional, factual, and respectful. I am asking for accountability, not personal attacks or threats. [email protected] As for me, my position is clear: I AM PREPARED TO TAKE THIS CASE TO TRIAL, AND I WILL NOT VOLUNTARILY ACCEPT A PLEA DEAL. I will continue to defend myself through the legal process and demand that the allegations be tested against the actual evidence. I am a Pima County resident, a taxpayer, a father, and an investigative journalist.
