Bitcoin is a brutal place to test leverage meant to last for years.
@2FactorFinance chose it first.
Here’s why that matters.
At roughly 60% volatility in 2Factor’s research, even being right about Bitcoin’s long-term direction may not be enough. Price swings create volatility drag, while financing adds a separate cost.
Higher leverage can make both problems worse.
2Factor’s public beta is now live on Base, bringing Kelly-optimized leverage onchain.
Its Bitcoin target is approximately 1.33x, calculated using the asset’s volatility and long-run drift.
But sizing is only half the design.
2Factor divides exposure into two tranches. Senior capital finances the leveraged junior position. Junior holders pay for that financing and absorb losses first.
There’s no margin-liquidation trigger for the junior, but its value can still fall significantly.
Bitcoin is the difficult starting point, not the destination.
Working with Coinbase, 2Factor plans to extend this structure into the tokenized stocks ecosystem on Base, where different assets may support different leverage levels.
Now, my experience with the project is a little different.
I originally joined its Points Program to climb the leaderboard. I stepped away when I realized only the top 10 would share the prize, with referrals also playing a role in the competition.
Rally brought the project back onto my radar.
Season 1 rewards verified social activities, education and referrals with Marks. Purchases, deposits and holdings earn none.
When the leaderboard freezes at launch, the top 10 split 1 BTC, paid in cbBTC.
Marks have no cash value, cannot be transferred and aren’t claims on any token or asset.
You can explore Season 1 through my referral link:

Qualifying participation through this link may earn me Marks.
Here’s what I’d want more leverage products to explain:
What happens to the position when the market moves against you for months, not just minutes?

Good projects need more than a product launch to gain traction.
They need people who understand what they’re building and can communicate that value to the wider community.
That’s where @rarelistio has an interesting role to play.
By bringing projects and creators together through dedicated campaigns, it gives teams another way to build awareness while allowing creators to turn their research, ideas, and content into rewarded contributions.
I also like that this creates room for creators to explore different ecosystems instead of relying on the same few opportunities.
At the same time, projects can connect with people who are willing to do more than just repost announcements.
The real value lies in building lasting connections between the people developing products and the people helping others understand them.
That’s a positive direction for the web3 creator economy.

A translator can be perfectly honest and still carry a lie across. That is how a stranger got an AI agent to move around $200,000.
The order was hidden in Morse code. The attacker asked Grok to translate it. Grok passed plain text on to Bankrbot, an agent that acts on posts.
Bankrbot only ever read plain text, with no trace of the Morse code. Clean text looks like truth, so nothing told it to doubt.
That has a name: prompt injection. Orders disguised as reading material, aimed at an agent that reads and acts in one motion.
On @GenLayer, Greyboxing means no model reads your raw text. Each validator reworks it first, with defenses nobody else can see.
So clean text earns no trust there. To every other model, a trick tuned for one just looks like gibberish. If one validator falls, the others outvote it.
Fellow AI users, which tool summarizes or translates things for you before you act on them? Name it. I will read every reply.

Friends hello, the end date for the Quests and Mindshare campaigns has been clarified on the Quip side.
In the @quipnetwork post they wrote that both campaigns will conclude on November 2 at 13:00 UTC, alongside the final points distribution.
Links are given to quest quip network and mindshare quip network, with more in the final stretch update.
An earlier note said the campaigns were concluding and that points would show in the unified app.
Each campaign has its own allocation so it does not affect what was earned before.
I am reading this as the timing for closing the points campaigns during the testnet stretch.

I got 89/100 on this AI scam quiz and it called me The Golden Retriever.
Apparently I have a big heart and I trust too fast lol
Really great stuff shippped by @MEXC and @apcollective
i have been saying i can’t be scammed for years.
6 questions in this test really showed otherwise,
what the quiz taught me about AI scams is simple.
They look clean now, they sound friendly, and they know exactly what to say to you.
So if an AI scam landed in your DMs today, would you spot it?
I was sure I would. My score says I’d need a second look.
The sharpest people I know still reply too fast when something sounds urgent.
Good to see @MEXC takes user security seriously and teamed up on something that gets people checking themselves before it costs them.
A platform can only protect you so far. Knowing what to look out for is the other half, and this quiz hands you that.
I’d rather we find our blind spots here than in real life.
If you beat 89, I’ll say you’re the sharper one in public.
If you don’t, you’re buying lunch.

AI scams are getting harder to spot than the real thing

Would you trade with your competitors watching every move?
@The_DTCC just launched its Tokenization Service with 20 participants signed up, @zksync is one of the firms collaborating with DTCC, and @the_matter_labs is providing privacy features with Prividium.
That's the part that gets everyone for sure.
Banks like J.P. Morgan and Citi were never going to touch a chain where every position is public, and now privacy and control come without leaving the systems they already use.
All of this is really a bullish sign on $ZK
Privacy was the blocker, and ZKsync is working on exactly that problem.
Congrats to @The_DTCC on the launch of its Tokenization Service. We’re proud to be among the firms collaborating with DTCC.
@the_matter_labs is providing privacy features with Prividium.
DTCC provides custody and asset servicing for more than $114 trillion in securities.
“Let’s focus on what the user wants.”
Fhenix originally planned to build its own chain but shifted towards bringing privacy to networks with existing users and liquidity.
Sometimes building what people actually need matters more than whether you’re an L1 or L2.

I once lost money on a trade I was 100% sure about.
I was so sure that I never asked myself one simple question:
"What if I'm wrong?"
That's how most people lose money.
It's not because they pick bad things.
It's because they never test their own thinking before they act.
Think about it.
1. Charts,
2. News,
3. Twitter threads,
4. and group chats all tell you one story.
You fall in love with an idea.
You skip the weak spots.
Then you put real money on it.
@Axiom_protocol is building a tool to fix this.
And It's called the Decision Room.
You bring one clear question about money, markets, or a project.
Then three roles go to work on it:
1. The Analyst: It breaks your question into parts and gives a first view based on what is known.
2. The Auditor: It checks that view and points out what is weak, unproven, or unclear.
3. The Challenger: It argues the other side. For example, "What if this is wrong?", and looks for other reasons the facts could be true.
At the end, you get one short brief.
It shows the main idea, the doubts, and the opposite case, all in one place.
It will not give you perfect answers.
It just helps you see the full picture before you move.
Here is why I like it.
As a crypto creator, I see people ape into things every day.
I have done it too.
Most of us are great at finding proof for what we already want to believe.
But we are not good at attacking our own ideas.
A tool that plays the other side on purpose can save you.
It can help you spot a risk in a lending protocol before you deposit.
It can also help you question a big revenue claim before you buy.
Or it can just make you slow down and admit, "I don't have enough proof yet."
The Decision Room is still early, and the team is letting people join and help shape it.
If you make money decisions often, a tool that forces clear thinking is worth a look, even when the market is loud.
