Genuinely upset with the Twitter timeline right now :( The experience has deteriorated to the point where Twitter is completely unusable.
"For You" timeline is now overloaded with recommendations, making me scroll through a ton of noise and garbage to see accounts I actually follow.
The "Following" timeline is just chronological, making it easy to miss important and relevant tweets unless I scroll down through ALL the tweets from all 500+ accounts.
If I can't see the information I want, why use Twitter in the first place?
It's fine to recommend and push content onto people, but at least why not let users control this?! Especially if they pay for Twitter! Can this not be a premium feature of some sort?
All I want is to see top tweets only from accounts I follow. Is that too much to ask?

The #fed told us higher for longer is necessary and they won’t stop until job is done on inflation . #powell told us less than a week ago a higher terminal than forecast in December will be needed . He also opened door to 50bp next week. A single bank pops and suddenly there are calls from Banks that Fed will imminently Pause and now some banks are calling for cuts. Hopefully this tweet goes viral so people can finally start to see the ‘big joke’ on display ! The Fed is slave to markets. There is no mandate other than to safe guard the system from implosion . If the Fed makes the policy mistake of pivoting next week. They will unleash inflationary pressures similar to 1970’s. There is going to be push back this time around cause the avg man on the street is aware of what you up to !!!

When you look at a map of where COVID-19 is spreading most, you don't have to be a genius to understand proximity is the issue and social distancing is the ONLY way we slow this thing and save our hospitals from overload. Isolation buys the much needed time to flatten the curve.

Our future is in the hands of the public not the hospitals. We need to to “flatten the curve" by slowing the infection rate, so hospital admissions would be spread over a prolonged period instead of a surge. If we don't lock down as a society, our healthcare system will collapse.
