Can't build an economy on the backs of cheap labor. Workers look at a paycheck and the gas pump. One is low and the other high (in that order). The outcome was pre-determined. Unfortunately, the AI-tech boom will have to figure out a way to move the paycheck up and the gas prices down. Otherwise, Congrats China

If your salary went down 4.76%, you go to the polls and vote against everyone in The government. The K shaped economy always leads to rebellious votes. Time to flip the script

For economists, Inflation is a “print”. For the US workforce, the inflation is felt in the pocket. FeltFlation exceeded wage gains and is causing a 4.5% wage erosion! We have to fix this @BenoitSf for all workers, not just workwhilers

And xitter.gq/squawkcnbc/status/2117… Bill agrees with me
This is a meaningless comparison. Ramp started in an era where payment volumes and revenues appreciate at much faster rates. If you wanna judge fintechs, judge them based on margins, FCFs, retention, etc, not some arbitrary timeline.

First I thought this was a @nbcsnl skit. But it is real. @GavinNewsom dude, you have 20 fentanyl Drug pushers standing right now on 7th and McAllister in SF. Can we arrest them first? also the 1.85m workers, taking way below minimum wage and hurting your legal immigrants, any thoughts on that? Elections in CA is like elections in Syria and Somalia, as in who cares. Democracy is when you have a choice.
If YOU show up to the polls illegally, we will find you. We will track you down, arrest you, and prosecute you. There will be no escape.

I know The Venture Industry is hot on @Polymarket and @Kalshi. I have ran an analysis and Honestly, their gravitas on news is worse than the national enquirer.

Big heart, Small Brain. as Jamie Dimon said. It is time for a big heart and a big brain to run the country and the large states. The Problem in CA we have a small heart and a small brain running the state (and the new one has even a smaller brain)
JUST IN: Bernie Sanders says he will push for Medicare for All and $20 minimum wage if Democrats win the Senate

Exactly. Honestly, that is the only real election that matters. The Future of Texas (aka Data Centers, aka the new Clean Oil) is the future of the US economy. Lousianna as well, but that is not contested.
One very key race for markets: Texas governor Nearly 30% of all planned US data center capacity in the U.S. Wells Fargo: we estimate every 10% haircut to TX data centers translates into a 1.6% hit to overall AI capex vs. baseline, all else equal  #Midterms2026

I like the no hire, no fire! It is called flex @WorkWhileAI
The big picture on the U.S. 'low hire, low fire' labor market: Total job openings in September: 7.5 million Total unemployed in September: 7.1 million +414,000 more job openings Total job openings in Sept. 2025: 7.2 million Total unemployed in Sept. 2025: 7.6 million -436,000 job openings There's still not much hiring going on, but the job market in fall 2026 is better than a year ago on many levels: more job openings, more hiring, more quitting.

It is alway the economy.
As Americans head to the polls today, a recent @gallup survey identified the economy, healthcare, and Iran as the top voter concerns

Once again-- Report after Report the #jobapocalypse theory proves wrong!
The data we're all waiting for today: an upbeat JOLTS report (September data!) 1/ Hiring was the strongest since June; quits were the strongest since June *2025*; layoffs were very low. Still, the improvement this year has been very small.

Stripe Vs Ramp, 8 years since inception. @tryramp eclipses @stripe. Congrats @karimatiyeh and @eglyman for taking the Fintech Crown.
