Also we now have a good amt of data from biz banking platform funding rounds this yr re: how they are valued! A few obs: > don't forget @tryramp is actually an AI lab (hence the val premium) > @mercury seems like best value on the board at 8x given 4 yrs of profitability, most customers, + furthest ahead in the charter race (expect bank to be live next yr) > based on rev per customer, seems like @slashapp + @FlexSuperApp having success going after high-spend customers > @meow just raised a $31.6M series B led by @Stifel but couldn’t find any data points on the scale of the biz other than the fact that it’s been profitable since ‘24 exit math check: @CapitalOne paid ~7.5x for @brexHQ ($5.15B on ~$700M rev growing 40% YoY)

Hourly workers keep this country running, and it's time they were treated like it. Today at #Money2020, we announced WorkWhile Money Match: workers will get a 10% annual reward on the WorkWhile earnings they keep on their card. Money that works for them. prnewswire.com/news-releases…

When we ship products @WorkWhileAI we tell the world about them. We are not shy about the 10%! We want every worker in the US to hear, see and feel that you are valuable!!!

Super proud of our new product announcements today at #Money2020, to help our workers reduce debt burden and grow savings. We're flipping the script on the hyper consumerist fintech playbook ("here is a wallet, her is a credit card, go buy things and take on debt"): We are introducing a @WorkWhileAI debit card, and attached to it, a Money Match product, that will pay our workers 10% on earned savings. As @Simonkhalaf would say "we are #longHumans": by sharing AI productivity gains, there is an opportunity to strengthen the social contract between platforms like ours and the people who make them run. This is the only path to become the largest employer and best-place-to-work for hourly workers in the US! prnewswire.com/news-releases…

most of the internet will be completely obsolete very soon. it already feels like an abstraction we tolerate for lack of a better alternative. ai agents replacing it would essentially reduce the web to a set of apis & scraped data repositories—just raw material for agent-mediated interaction. no need for direct user involvement; you ask, they fetch, synthesize, & act. search engines? obsolete. social platforms? distilled into personalized outputs. even “websites” as a concept might evaporate—why visit a page when your agent brings you the content or makes decisions for you? the internet becomes invisible infrastructure, like electricity. the downside: agents would consolidate power even harder than platforms like google. imagine them becoming gatekeepers of truth & commerce, & good luck disentangling bias from synthesis. you’d be trading the wild west of the web for a walled garden of agents. agents will be the de facto mediators of human desire.

At @workwhile we're betting that scarcity will drive premium for manual labor, that's why we're #LongHumans
There is a reason we @WorkWhileAI are #LongHumans. Bandwidth, Compute and eventually unit costs are going to zero (and fast)-- The Unit economics of labor (inflation adjusted) has been stable and going up. @BenoitSf @alanarmen44 No one is taking jobs away from us: Not The steam engine, Not the sewing machine, not the Internet and certainly NOT AI.

Sequoia's post claiming the next $1T company will be a software company masquerading as a services firm said that logistics firms basically weren't using AI agents (as of March 2026). I wonder how fast that is changing?

Linear CEO @karrisaarinen: "Making products produces two things: the product, and the learning. The effort you put into building and designing things teaches you something about what the problem is, what the customers want. We're in this time now that there's this danger of losing that direct connection with the learning."

So far, A.I.'s losers are routine office jobs like data entry keyers and customer service reps. Its winners are data scientists and the trades building the data centers like construction laborers and electricians. My @nytopinion Chart: nytimes.com/2026/10/02/opini…

Replying to @PaulYacoubian
People aren’t ready to hear this, but Jevon’s paradox only suggests rising consumption. Not rising spend.
