Our latest typeface, Hubano, inspired by Cuban cigar box lettering is now available. All-caps, extended language support, two styles: Regular and Rough. It was a blast zig-zagging those crossbars! #sbfonts
I'll often design a physical good as a specimen for these type releases, and for Hubano we made matchbooks—but instead of matches, they have 10 plantable, wildflower seed sticks. I'll probably throw one in with any goods order for a bit ;-) #marketing

My new typeface is out today! Hubano is a decorative display serif inspired by lettering on a Cuban cigar box. Wacky crossbars (but also boring alternates). For the next week get 15% off with code CROSSBAR #sbfonts

Reworking an older design with #sbfonts Paint Factory. Might need to slap this one on some goods.
Had some plates made featuring #sbfonts, waiting on a base for our letterpress. We’ll doing some new prints soon, and I’m excited to continue making things by only knowing about half of what I’m doing.
Testing and putting the finishing touches on the forthcoming #sbfonts Hubano — A display serif inspired by some lettering on a cuban cigar box (don’t tell the authorities I have it 😎)
It may not be what the general public wants, but I’d love to see more movies with practical effects, puppets, stop motion, miniatures, analog orchestral scores, etc. It’s not just nostalgia, it’s an enjoyable aesthetic when done well.
BTW I loved Beetlejuice 2

Yesterday, we said goodbye to my Mom, almost exactly a year after saying goodbye to my Dad. It only scratches the surface, but I wrote up some thoughts about what she taught me over the years.
