Really is amazing what UNI coach Ben Jacobson has done in Cedar Falls.
20 seasons.
Nearly 400 wins.
Second all-time in Missouri Valley in victories behind Henry Iba.
One of those guys who doesn’t self-promote at all and doesn’t get enough credit.
College football got a little bit worse today. The coaching profession needs more like Kli - he’s as good as they come.
One of my all-favorite coaches I’ve ever worked with. He raised the bar for everyone around him. Enjoy your retirement, @ArkCoachBuck, you’ve earned it!
Asked my wife to name 30 golfers. Not too shabby (if you can read her handwriting). Things get interesting from 13-30. 😂
Same river, different water.
Still no room for Drake or UNI … but plenty of room for UMass Lowell, WIU, SEMO, Western Michigan and worst of all Bucknell in Des Moines.
I had higher expectations for @CoachMcCollum and where he’s come from.
It was said there wasn’t room for the game in Des Moines. Funny!

SEASON TWENTY begins soon.
Another year of covering @UNIAthletics is about to begin. #EverLoyal
In today’s college athletics landscape, he’s a rare breed. Despite multiple opportunities to take bigger jobs, he’s remained loyal. The Panthers are lucky to have him at the helm.

Jed’s tenure at UNI aligned with the most successful stretch in the program’s storied history - and that was no coincidence. His impact can’t be overstated.
After 20 years with the Panthers, strength and conditioning coach Jed Smith is saying farewell to UNI.
Thank you, Jed for all you have done to help build champions in the weight room, in competition, the classroom and in life!

Much more than a putter. It’s a piece of art. @HannaGolfCo is a great story that is just getting started. From one Panther to another, thanks @DoerflerJared!
A Sweet Sixteen comprised of only P4 schools is just gross. The clock is striking midnight on mid-majors for the foreseeable future. #NCAATournament
