Have you seen our fantastic new #AorticDissection website, designed by a team of patient survivors, relatives and healthcare professionals? Check it out and pls RT. #AortaEd aorticdissectionawareness.or…
I’ve signed up to Threads, but the reality is that no social media platform lives up to how good (looking back) Twitter was when using a third party app such as @tweetbot - no ads, a chronological timeline, and good keyword muting abilities. Everything has been downhill since.
Hoping this is just a temporary glitch that is resolved soon, but given the current ownership situation, I do worry.
I’ve recently started receiving creepy, unnecessary and unsolicited “Someone has viewed your capture” emails from @DropboxSupport when sharing Dropbox screenshots. How do I unsubscribe from these emails when I don’t use the Capture app?
Trying out a new tea today after hearing @robbohuyton mentioning it on podcasts for years. 🫖☕️ Had to order it on Amazon as I never see it in any of the shops around here.
I’ve used @1Password for years, and generally like it, but 1Password 8 for Mac was a definite backward step from 1Password 7. The UI/UX can be so frustrating at times. It’s like it was rebuilt by a team who had never used the app before. 😕
My 8 year old daughter was asking me questions about UK politics today, so I explained it to her using an analogy that she’d understand, with her being a Star Wars fan - Labour are like the Rebels, and the Conservatives are like the Empire. I think that sums it up!
This is annoying, as this is usually our ‘go to’ iPad for the kids. From £330 to £500! A 50%’ish price increase. 😕
The iPad just got its biggest update ever—and its biggest price hike to match.

Email from Netflix - “Here’s what’s leaving Netflix soon”, then it lists 3 good movies from my list that are leaving in the next 10 days.
Then below that, “What’s coming soon”, then it lists 7 films that I’ve never even heard of that looks absolutely shite.

So folks have been comparing the weird @GMB morning show interview with the climate activist in the UK with *that* scene from #DontLookUp.
So we at the @MehdiHasanShow put them side by side & the results are.. astounding. Reality mirroring art!

For any of my followers who haven't seen it yet, here it is.
Spent Friday evening watching the unremittingly bleak nuclear war film THREADS (1984). If you need sobering up: vimeo.com/305272247

A relevant and sobering thought from Albert Einstein: “I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”
I started watching Sons of Anarchy on @NetflixUK over Christmas, and was 6 episodes into season 1. Just tried to watch the next episode only to find it’s not available any more. A bit of searching shows it has been removed as of 1st January. It’s really crap when this happens. 😕
Haven’t watched a Formula 1 race for years, but watched today’s race. Feel sorry for Lewis Hamilton. Absolute joke. #AbuDhabiGP
The article that this links to is worth a read if you’ve ever been frustrated that dialogue in movies is difficult to understand. I watched Interstellar recently and thought my TV was faulty, or my hearing was getting worse, due to not being able to catch some of the words.

If you have that much shite in your menu bar, then get a Windows laptop instead and leave the MacBook Pro’s for the cool kids. 😜
.@SnazzyQ has spotted an embarrassing bug that causes menu bar items to hide behind the MacBook Pro's notch. Hard to understand how this made it through beta testing. macworld.co.uk/news/macbook-…
