Everyone knows what MAYDAY means. It’s a distress call when someone falls overboard or is preparing to abandon ship.
But what do sailors shout when a shipmate needs critical help before the ship is in jeopardy of sinking?
Two words every mariner should know:
ONE HAND!
The iron rule aboard ships is simple: “One hand for yourself, one hand for the ship.”
You NEVER carry anything with both hands. One hand must always be free to grab a railing, secure yourself, or prevent a fall.
But there’s an exception: you may use both hands to help a shipmate in trouble.
When someone calls “ONE HAND!” you drop what you’re doing and lend a hand.
We have discovered that the majority of libraries are not stocking THE most important book written this year.
So, America, I’M CALLING ONE HAND!
Pick up the phone. Call your public library. Ask them to stock Unelected, the New York Times bestseller by @DataRepublican and @JoshuaLisec.
This well researched book raises serious questions about the influence of globalist NGOs on American government and efforts to undermine the constitution. Those questions deserve public scrutiny, and Americans deserve access to the book.
BONUS POINTS: Buy two copies (Amazon link in comments). Keep one and donate the other to your library.
But here’s the catch: Donating a book doesn’t necessarily mean it will enter the library’s collection. Make the librarian confirm that it will be cataloged and made available for borrowing before you donate it.
Talk to them directly, don’t just dump it in the donation bin, it will be lost.
If they decline, ask why. Request a written statement of refusal and share their explanation publicly.
They do not have the moral right to refuse cataloging a NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

I think the people making money off of elections make sure the polls are close so they can squeeze every last dime out of the donors.
Then they take that $ and spend it on tv- which is basically lighting it on fire because tv ads don’t change the outcome of elections in the last 90 days.

College hockey team captain killed in wrong-way crash with illegal alien.
EXCLUSIVE: University Hockey Captain Killed in Wrong Way Collision With Twice-Deported Mexican Illegal in Sanctuary Connecticut
A beloved member of the University of New Haven community was killed in a head-on collision with a driver who is in the U.S. illegally, federal authorities have confirmed with Border Hawk.
The tragedy unfolded at around 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 16 in North Haven, Connecticut.
Ryan O’Shea, 21, was driving southbound on Interstate 91 when a pickup truck traveling in the wrong direction slammed into his Honda Accord, causing his vehicle to strike two SUVs, Connecticut State Police (CSP) explained in an accident summary.
O’Shea, who was on his way back to campus after playing in a hockey game, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck, who suffered “serious life-threatening injuries,” was identified as 31-year-old Guillermo Carmona-Lopez, a resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut.
“In May 2013, Border Patrol arrested Carmona-Lopez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, after he illegally entered the country. Carmona-Lopez was issued an expedited removal and was removed from the country,” the Department of Homeland Security told us.
“He then illegally reentered the country near the Rio Grande Valley after being removed—a felony—and was once again arrested by Border Patrol in May 2013. Carmona-Lopez was issued a final order of removal on May 30, 2013. He then reentered the country at an unknown time and place.”
It is currently unclear if Carmona-Lopez will face charges in connection with the crash.
A resident of Stony Point, New York, O’Shea served as senior assistant captain of the university’s club hockey team and also chapter president of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.
He was studying criminal justice with a concentration in police science and aspired to work for the New York Police Department.
“Ryan was not only a great leader, but he was a caring friend to anyone around him. He always knew how to light up a room and make people laugh, no matter the time. Ryan’s leadership and the memories he has made will never be forgotten,” Kappa Sigma wrote in an Instagram post memorializing O’Shea.
Ryan’s sisters said he “always found a way to make everything positive.”
“He was always trying to go out of the way to help others and include them in new spaces if they didn’t know anyone,” Kiera O’Shea stated.
Two memorial scholarships have been established in Ryan O’Shea’s name. Contributions can be made here.
We contacted CSP to request more information on this investigation and Carmona-Lopez’s current condition and will provide updates if they become available.
