I’ll never look at certain people the same after seeing how quick they switched up once they had other people to lean on. I showed up when they needed me, held them down when nobody else did, & never threw it in their face. now I know better than to confuse being needed with being valued. just remember, the same person you treated like they didn’t matter when you got everybody is the same person who showed up when you had nobody. you don’t get to forget my worth just because other people finally see yours.

add and autism is over diagnosed? for decades, neurodivergent people, particularly women, girls and ethnic minorities, have been overlooked and underdiagnosed. now that awareness is improving, suddenly we're concerned about overdiagnosis? an increase in diagnoses doesn't automatically mean overdiagnosis. why are we more concerned about people receiving a diagnosis than those who've spent their lives struggling without one?
