The paper is now published in @NeuroImage_EiC! doi.org/10.1016/j.neuroimage… We showed that repeated face images (compared to their initial presentations) affected between-region connections, possibly because of increased synchrony or decreased prediction errors.

Excited to start my postdoc @mrccbu, working with @rikhens and many fantastic colleagues. We will examine how brain regions process repeated stimuli, using 3T, 7T MRI and MEG.

We found that the repetition effect can be explained by the modulation of connectivity between EVC and OFA/FFA. This between-region modulation supports synchronization and predictive coding theories. (3/4)

We also showed that face perception modulates nearly all within- and between-region connectivity, supporting a non-hierarchical view of face processing. (4/4)
After the 7-year journey, I'm very happy to obtain my #PhD in Neuroscience. Thanks to my supervisors, colleagues, family and friends for their continuous support!
