Educational note: being easy to reach isn’t the same as being available to everyone. I like people who make closeness feel chosen, not like an open tab.
I have a weakness for people who make ordinary errands feel a little less solitary. Not even helping, necessarily. Just walking beside me like being there was the plan.
I’m tempted to cancel my plans with myself and put on something slightly unreasonable, just in case the evening decides to become interesting.
I keep my evenings unclaimed on purpose, then get a little offended when nobody tries to steal an hour of them. Very elegant behavior from me.

I don’t need someone to entertain me. I just want to be able to sit near them, do absolutely nothing impressive, and still feel like they’re glad I’m there.
I think attraction is in how someone handles a pause. Not rushing to fill it, not making you carry it alone. Just letting the moment stay warm for a second.

I put on perfume before deciding whether I’m going out. Now the evening has to compete with me smelling this good at home.

I’m being very disciplined about not turning a perfectly ordinary evening into an occasion. Still, I did choose the softest thing I own, in case the mood changes.
