Every empty token account in your Solana wallet locks ~0.002 SOL of rent. Traded memecoins? That's often hundreds of them. SolRent gets it back: • free scan, no wallet connect • you sign every tx • 0% fee, reclaiming is free How much is yours hiding? solrent.app/scan

scanned 20 wallets off a public kol leaderboard today. median wallet has almost 2,900 token accounts. the biggest has 27,307 the 10 smaller ones had 4.2 SOL just sitting there. the other 10 were too big for my scanner lol

nobody needs your seed phrase to close empty accounts. if a site or a dm asks for it, you're getting robbed

if you ever signed a random approval in 2024 it might still be live. revoke the ones you don't recognise

close vs burn: empty account, just close it. still has dust you don't want, burn then close

every memecoin you round-tripped left 0.002 SOL behind. i'm not saying it's your retirement fund but it adds up

fun one after the rent cut: a new token account only needs 0.00149 SOL, but your old ones still hold 0.00204. close an old one and you get the whole 0.00204 back

Getting your rent back on SolRent is free: 0% fee. You only pay the normal Solana network fee. Here's what you actually sign: • Close instructions for your empty token accounts, with your own wallet as the destination for the rent • Burns, only for dust you choose to clear first • Revokes, only for old approvals you choose to remove • A compute-budget line (priority fee) We simulate the transaction before your wallet opens, and your wallet shows every instruction. Read it before you sign.

How many empty token accounts are sitting in your Solana wallet right now? Each one still holds ~0.002 SOL of rent you can get back. Guess first, then check.

Every token you ever held left a small account behind in your wallet. Each one has about 0.002 SOL locked in it as a rent deposit. Selling the token doesn't close the account, so the deposit just sits there. Rough math: • 50 old memecoins ≈ 0.1 SOL • 300 ≈ 0.6 SOL • 1,000 ≈ 2 SOL You can check how many you have without connecting anything: paste your address into solrent.app/scan and it lists every empty account and the SOL in each. Closing them is free (0% fee), and you sign every transaction yourself.

Old token approvals are the quiet risk in most Solana wallets. When you use some dApps, you give a "delegate" permission to move a token from your account. Many never get revoked. If that program or key is ever compromised, it can still move those tokens. How to check yours: 1. Paste your address into solrent.app/scan (free, no wallet connect) 2. Look at "Risky approvals" 3. Revoke anything you don't recognise. You sign it yourself. While you're there, empty token accounts can be closed to get their rent back. Recovery is free.

Solana quietly cut rent in September. Most wallets haven't noticed what that means. SIMD-0437 lowered the rent rate from 6,960 to 5,080 lamports per byte (live 11 Sept 2026). A token account now needs ~0.00149 SOL instead of ~0.00204 SOL. What it means for you: 1. Empty token accounts still hold the old deposit Every memecoin you sold left an account behind with ~0.002 SOL locked in it. Close it and the whole deposit comes back to your wallet. 2. Accounts you keep now hold more than they need Accounts created before the change hold ~0.00055 SOL above the new minimum. That "excess rent" can be withdrawn without closing the account or touching your tokens (Token-2022 today, classic SPL as each step is confirmed). 3. It grows Three more rate cuts are planned (no dates yet). Each one makes the excess on old accounts bigger. 4. It adds up 200 old accounts you still use: about 0.11 SOL of excess. 500 dead memecoin accounts: about 1 SOL in deposits. SolRent scans any wallet for both, free, no wallet connect needed to look. Reclaiming is free too (0% fee), and you sign every transaction yourself. Check yours: solrent.app/scan How the rent cut works: solrent.app/guides/excess-re…
