Hello, With no screen on the card, the phone is the display, so the app has to carry that weight. And that’s the exact scenario we built it against. The app runs integrity checks that stop modified versions from running, root and jailbreak detection, tapjacking protection, certificate pinning, and DexProtector, the same protection tooling banking and payment apps use. The code is public on GitHub, so anyone can check it. To be precise about what each part guarantees: the card guarantees the keys can’t be extracted and nothing gets signed without your access code and a physical tap. Making sure what you see is what gets signed is the app’s job, and that’s exactly what the protections above exist for. A screen also isn’t a guarantee on its own. It shows whatever the device tells it to show, so if the device was tampered with somewhere in the supply chain, the screen confirms the attack instead of catching it. Recent cases made that very clear. Every extra component is one more place to tamper with, which is a big part of why our card has none. And with complex smart contracts, people often end up signing blind anyway, screen or not. No design removes risk, each one puts the trust somewhere different.
