I’m looking for funding to be able to implement the latest versions of APP6 and 2525 in milsymbol. There are a lot of big projects using milsymbol, so hopefully someone might step up.

The new functionality is online, there is now a client where you can change parameters and get exact passage times. Please don’t kill my hosting, this is heavy data.
So I made this thing where I try to predict the next possible EO satellite capture. It should automatically update every day, but I can’t guarantee that it works.
Please let me know if I got any constellations wrong.

There was a delay in today’s forecast because of a code failure in the backend du to added new functionality, the forecast is however now online.

Testing Battle Staff Tools 2.12 to prepare the next release. There is a lot of new functionality, and a lot of people will appreciate simple things that you will be able to set properties in an excel that you import.

Some people want their e-ink weather station displayed as much information as possible, I took a different approach.
One step closer to dynamic lines and other graphics, and still without making it hard to handle lots of objects.
What we are seeing in Paris might happen on a much larger scale in the future if large number of people gets pushed out of the job market by AI.
I hope that isn’t the case, but it is a scenario we must consider.
No, I’m still not creating a library for full support of drawing tactical graphics, I’m just trying to make military PowerPoint’s look even better. After many, many years of thinking, I think I finally figured out how to do complex lines in a good way.
One of the most wished for features, to be able to select and change properties on multiple features.
Support for @battle_order color palette will be included in the upcoming 2.11.1 release.
Custom color picker implemented.
Maybe #ORBATboys wants me to add a @battle_order color palette…
Like them symbols.
🇺🇦Ukrainian Groupings and Corps sectors - a basic guide
This thread is an introduction to 🇺🇦Ukrainian “Force Groupings” and Corps deployments as of late summer 2026.
We have noticed several misconceptions on the topic, shared by analysts and the “broader public” alike.
Our information is exclusively based on open sources and observation of publicly available data.
❗️Before we begin, a fundamental notion must be clear: at the moment, the corps headquarters and their organic brigades should be treated separately.
With a few exceptions, most corps do not have all their brigades in their assigned sector (and many brigades are subordinated to corps they do not organically belong to).
PowerPoint mike drop. 🎤
My goal of making any Staff Officer able to make stunning images for their presentations has been reached.
Things happened and I implemented a nice way to add good looking numbered points to the map. (With magic auto numbering.) Also created a new mapbundle with the nice presentation maps I made in the beginning of the weekend.
This looks so good! 🤩
