🚨 Fleetwood coach Matt Lawlor on their victory against Arsenal Interviewer that's a shocking victory against Arsenal. What can you tell us about this great victory over Mikel Arteta's team Matt Lawlor 🗣️ Arsenal are the Current Premier League Champions and one of the best team in the world currently but tonight my players showed that with Courage and determination you can overcome anything in life. Mikel Arteta and his men are very difficult to beat but before this game my players were motivated to try and do the impossible and it really worked out. Interviewer 🗣️ who impressed you most tonight? Matt Lawlor 🗣️ Our team performance was excellent and almost perfect but I would say Lynch impressed me the most,He stopped the likes of Max Dowman,Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres so many times in the game and he saved Bruno Guimaraes penalty. Interviewer 🗣️ At what point during the game did you believe that your team could win the game. Matt Lawlor 🗣️ The moment Aaron Loupalo-bi scored, the joy inside Highbury Stadium was amazing at that point I felt we can actually get the best result from the game. Interviewer what did you tell your team before the second half that made them to defend so well. Matt Lawlor 🗣️ I knew that Arteta was going to introduce,Ezri Konsa, Ben White, Eberechi Eze, Martin Odegaard and Bruno Guimaraes to push us hard in the second half. I told them to go and protect the advantage we had and try as much as possible not to concede. Though Viktor Gyokeres scored but we won because of how we defended in the second half. Interviewer 🗣️ Max Dowman got the Red Card for a challenge on Fleetwood player,do you think the referee made the right decision? Matt Lawlor 🗣️ Yes he made the right call because it was a very poor tackle that's capable of getting one injured. It's quite unfortunate that he got the Red Card but it actually made the job easier for us. #FLEARS #CarabaoCup
