-> Higher IOU than all frontier models
SKY-001 lets you dream a physical object before you build it.

We took a contrarian approach in research, and we're glad we did. The results beat our own expectations.
SKY-001 outperforms all frontier LLMs such as GPT-6 Astra, Gemini 3.8 Flash, and Opus 5.5 in both CAD and BIM. It's a big step forward for world models proving how such AI systems can reinvent manufacturing firms.
Next, we're excited to bring it to more domains such as PCB Design, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Use Agents and many more.

While designing complex physical objects via CAD, frontier LLMs try to brute-force engineering through text tokens and inevitably buckle under compounding error pile-up.
SKY-001 operates as a true spatial World Model. It plans directly in the 3D space, recursively breaking complex designs down to the smallest part, then re-assembling everything while keeping every step globally consistent.
That’s how it leaves GPT-6 Astra, Gemini 4 Argon, and Claude Fable 5.1 behind on complex CAD workflows.

Introducing Flint, @Recursive_SI’s first model: a fast local coding model built with our automated research system, the Eureka Machine.
• Best-in-class fast local coding
• Up to 2x faster than comparable models: 125+ tokens/sec on a MacBook Pro, 150+ on RTX Spark
• Built from scratch in under 4 months
Private, unmetered intelligence on your own machine. Open weights available now on @huggingface, run it locally on your favorite framework or try it for free on @opencode or @pidotdev.
The Indian origin CEO of a company which has the world's best engineering design AI model now, bettering frontier models like GPT Astra, is open to collaborating for using the model in India's engineering design and development.
It's a foreign company, sure. But something can be worked out, I think. If some initiative is taken by GoI to see if their model can be deployed securely for India's engineering R&D purposes. I think India needs to fast adopt cutting edge AI in design and development.
IMO, India must create special incentives for Indian founded companies in the world to start operations in India and bring their tech to India sooner. Most are innovating cutting edge tech and doing wonderful things. India should benefit from it.

SKY-001 ties GPT-6 Astra on accuracy.
On Skyfall's CAD benchmark, 1,000 parts at about 100 drawing steps each, it scores 79.7% IoU against Astra's 79.1%. Skyfall's own write-up calls that matching. The gap is time and money: 3.9 seconds and half a cent per part, against 199 seconds and 75 cents.
On floor plans it leads, narrowly: 43.6% IoU against Astra's 40.6% and Gemini 3.8 Flash's 42.3%. Against Astra it takes 1.22 seconds instead of 145 and a quarter of a cent instead of 45. No model clears 50% there yet.
The design is the interesting part. A composer splits the object into a tree of assemblies and parts, then a construction world model builds each leaf as a run of 3D states and the 2D sketches between them. Leaves build in parallel, so the sequential steps grow with the depth of the design, not its size.
Their training objects have a median of 288 parts. PartVerse, a widely used public set, has 6.
The fine print: the benchmark is Skyfall's own, access is a waitlist, and an editable CAD feature history is listed as the next step. Today the output is a visual design plan.

Our goal is not just to build better CAD and BIM designs but for SKY-001 to become the foundation model engineering firms run their core workflows on, from product design to production.
Autonomous manufacturing needs AI systems that can reason in abstract latent space. That’s why we’re doubling down on world models and moving beyond language.

Amazing work by @lu_haoye and the rest of the @skyfallai team. This is just the beginning of end of software.
Excited to finally share something I’ve been deeply involved in building @skyfallai!
Over the past few months, we’ve spent countless hours designing the framework, connecting ideas, and bringing everything together into a working system. It’s been a challenging but incredibly rewarding journey.
The result is SKY-001, a world model purpose-built for visual reasoning in engineering.
Rather than relying on general-purpose LLMs, we’re exploring a different approach: specialized world models that reason through intermediate visual states, potentially making complex engineering reasoning far more efficient.
I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished as a team and excited to see where we take it next.

Just saw Skyfall’s world model. I can see this opening a lot of doors inside enterprises.
LLMs got us this far, but I keep thinking @ylecun might be right about autoregression.
At some point, why should agents even need to operate in ways humans can understand?
Today we're unveiling SKY 00-1, the first Engineering World Model towards Autonomous Manufacturing.
LLMs are great at information retrieval and code, however, the physical world involves geometric and spatial understanding. Designing complex physical objects requires long-horizon planning and latent reasoning, which LLMs weren't built for.
We stacked SKY-001 against the top frontier LLMs (GPT-6 Astra, Fable 5.1 etc) and we found that our model is 100x faster and 150x cheaper in CAD and BIM while having higher precision.
As a compositional visual world model, SKY-001 lets you "dream" a design before you build it. It explores many designs in parallel, breaks each one down into its smallest components, and reassembles them in 3D, ready to open in CAD tools like Autodesk Fusion.
With applications in several industries, SKY-001 is the first step to reimagining engineering firms.

Everyone is racing to build bigger and smarter LLMs.
Meanwhile, Skyfall AI is exploring a completely different direction.
Meet SKY-001, an engineering world model designed to understand and construct complex physical objects.
Instead of relying entirely on token-heavy reasoning, it simulates possible designs, breaks them into smaller parts, and reconstructs complete CAD assemblies.
